Absolutely divine
So, I popped into the local town hall café for a cuppa and I noticed these crisps, purchased a packet and was blown away, by how good they were. So, what’s to like?Well, they are proper sized crunchy crisps, not the thin things that is the more usual fare today. The flavours, (not just the Mushroom and Garlic) are exactly as they should be, you can actually taste that the quality of the product is paramount to the people who make these. The packaging, (yes, the packaging) it’s the only crisp packaging in the Uk that is 100% plastic free and designed to be placed in your compost bin.If you want to try something different, that is tasty, and environmentally friendly, I don’t think you could go wrong with these.

Good crisps
These are good crisps and it is worth checking out the other flavours as well. The crisps settle heavily in the tin, which is only essentially half full when you open it, but the tin does protect them from getting crushed or damaged. It is suggested you can reuse the tin, but the reality is that the lid is tricky to open and, whilst you can replace it, you then have to go through the same tricky operation to reopen it again. You are therefore less likely to want to use it for anything subsequently, at least not anything involving replacing the lid.Good crisps therefore, but consider and check out the other packaging options as offers may be available that make alternatives better value and these aren’t worth it for the tin if that is the deciding factor.

Great, carbon neutral and environmentally friendly
Fascinated two try these crisps after watching a programme about these two farmers, who grow their own potatoes and then turn them into crisps, very environmentally friendly package, nice, delicate flavour, substantial pack with a lot of crisps, generous portion

Moreish and environmentally guilt-free?
These taste a bit like roast chicken flavoured crisps to me but much nicer. They are more savoury than the S&V flavour and very moreish. Coming in compostable bags, they are also as guilt-free as you can get, from an environmental perspective. The bags don’t seem any different to normal crisp bags. I’ve put one in my garden compost to see how it gets on. Will update next year once weather has warmed up enough for compost to be produced.Only concern is that studies into UK landfills suggest that the conditions necessary to compost “compostable” bags tend not to be present, so the bags hang around in the environment after all. Will see how the one in my own compost gets on and once confirm that it does indeed compost down, will order lots and lots more as they are delicious.

Ok I guess
Nice idea, but crisps simply not as good as whatever Tyrrell's use for potatoes most of the year, so not rebuying

Best crisps ever
These are the nicest crisps with the most wonderful flavour I've ever had, and the bag is able to be put in the compost.

Delicious
These crisps are delicious! Very moreish and it is difficult not to eat the whole box. I buy the box on subscription for lunch boxes. It’s great that they are plastic free but a shame they are twice the price of the brand leading unrecyclable crisps… but they do taste better than those crisps.
