If you love roses!
A fantastic Rose, that is so heady, romantic and soothing-and smells like the most fragrant flowers in a garden. This is a blend of six roses-Bulgarian, Turkish, May, Damascus, Moroccan and Egyptian-and the scent is all rose.I wore it for many years until it disappeared. I was so happy to find it on Amazon again, since I was so craving roses this summer. In the noughties, in the office, in the late afternoon, when I would spritz a bit on for a pick-me-up, my colleagues would go crazy over it in a good way-it is the scent of a garden, never cloying, never perfumy, one that that will never give anyone a headache like so many awful modern scents.Fantastic, feminine, beautiful, and highly recommended.

Nothing beats French perfume
Annick Goutal was a master perfumieress (?) and her art lives on. I have six of her scents; all are above compare. I love the smell of roses; I wanted to have that scent with me. I tried a Bulgari scent, but it smelled *nothing* like roses. This is a classic French perfume. Let it warm to your chemistry. On my skin, it grows rich, heady, gorgeous. And it lasts. Strangers may ask you if you are what smells like heaven. It is a perfume both natural and seductive. This is a nice, big bottle that will last a long time. Treat it well, out of heat and direct and direct sunlight. I hope you are elevated by it, as I have been.

An expensive disappointment
Disappointed in this cologne. Yes, at first it seems of true roses. But it doesn't linger at all on me. If I can't smell the cologne on myself for at least half an hour, then it's not worth the price. This is the most expensive cologne I've ever purchased. Not worth the price to me. Doesn't even smell that great after a short time, kind of musty.
