The Philips T8505 Wireless Earbuds are Good.
The Philips T8505 Active Noise Cancelling True Wireless Earbuds provides a very pleasant Great Audio Sound experience with loads of Clean Smooth Bass, the Earbuds are very lightweight, comfortable to wear without them falling out, and the Earbuds are very well Design Craft built. Earbuds are built with premium audio drivers with Bluetooth 5.0 signal delivery, and wireless earbuds generate incredible HD sound quality with some rich well balanced Bass. Philips Earbuds are just like the Jabra 85t Earbuds with the Philips Earbuds having an Oval Shape Nozzle & a semi-open design with pressure relief vents, preventing pressure build-up inside the ear, and create a secure, noise-cancelling seal, and boosting the sound quality. Overall the Philips T8505 Active Noise Cancelling True Wireless Earbuds are pretty nice, and functional. The functionality with everything on Wireless Earbuds works pretty Good overall, there is NO problems with anything. The Philips T8505 Active Noise Cancelling True Wireless Earbuds Autopause Feature is Amazing. Earbuds Pause immediately when you remove Earbuds from your Ears. The Automatic Power Off Feature is also Amazing. Philips Earbuds does connect seamlessly to your phone, and does display Battery status on your phone just like AirPods do. The Philips T8505 Active Noise Cancelling True Wireless Earbuds turn OFF instantly once inside of the Charging Case as normal, and the Earbuds will Turn OFF immediately in less than 2 Minutes of no activity. If you take the Earbuds out of your ears and put Earbuds on a Table/Desk/Surface for 3 minutes the Earbuds will TURN off in exactly 3 Minutes. I think you can change that Auto Detect feature within the APP somewhere, I have not tried. You certainly do NOT ever have to worry about wearing down the Battery. That is a Good thing. You practically do NOT have to ever worry about Turning Off the Earbuds. (The Auto Detect Feature preserves the Battery Life long very well). Usually with other types of True Wireless Earbuds, if you take other True Wireless Earbuds out of your Ears and put other True Wireless Earbuds on any surface, the other Earbuds will stay on and Drain the Battery. But Philips Technology does NOT do that. Philips T8505 Earbuds shut off automatically, and turn on automatically when necessary. It is Great! The Philips Earbuds Auto Detect Funtion is Incredible, the Earbuds are constantly every 2 Minutes silently Auto Detecting if Earbuds are inside, or not inside of your Ears, being used. If you take the Earbuds out of your Ears and Leave the Earbuds on the Table, the Auto Detect Feature will know in less than 3 minutes, and it will turn Off the Earbuds to save the Battery. The AUTO Power On Feature is GOOD too, Earbuds will turn On or Earbuds connect with the Philips App Instantly. "Oh My Goodness! I just found out that the MOST Amazing thing about the Philips Earbuds is that when you take Philips Earbuds out of your Ears and put them on the Table for 3 Minutes, the Earbuds will automatically Shut Off, & Disconnect from Bluetooth, and then when you go back to Instantly/Immediately Touch and Pick Up the Earbuds again, the Philips Earbuds will instantly automatically Turn Back On and Earbuds Automatically Resume Playing Music without you having to turn on the Earbuds manually!! The Philips Earbuds Automatically start playing Music once you touch once Earbuds again. Oh My Goodness! No other Earbuds can do that, I am serious! No other Earbuds will power off when you put them on a Table/Desk/Surface for 3 Minutes, and then Earbuds AUTOMATICALLY Power back ON, back once you TOUCH Earbuds and Pick up the Earbuds again!! If you take out the Right Earbud from out your ear, the Right Earbud will stop playing music, (Right Earbud will turn off in 3 minutes), and the Left Earbud will Continue to play music. If you take out the Left Earbud from out your ear, the Left Earbud will stop playing music, (Left Earbud will turn off in 3 minutes), and the Right Earbud will Continue to play music. That is Incredible with the Philip Earbuds!!! That is a Really GOOD Feature, and an Amazing ability with the Philips Earbuds. The Philips Touch Controls are INCREDIBLE with that Smart Ability!!!" The Software Update worked very Good also, and there were No problems, no issues with software update, it worked fine. The Chargecase isn't too big either, it is a reasonable size. The Chargecase is Good also, because you can also fit Large Size Eartips inside of the Chargecase also if you need to. That is a GOOD Thing. In my Box I think they only included 2 sizes of Medium Eartips by mistake, and they Forgot to include LARGE Size Eartips inside of the Box. When I 1st got the Philips Earbuds they had 1 Size of Medium Eartips on the Earbuds, and another same Size of Medium Eartips inside of the Box. (NO Large Eartips in Box). I had Extra set of Large Eartips from other Earbuds at my Home, that I was able to use instead. Then I found out that by using LARGE Eartips, it gives you a "GOOD Bass" with Immersive 3D Sound Experience. It was Great! If you like BASS, you are going to have to ADD some Good Larger Size Eartips. The Bass is accentuated Very Well and sounds Better by using much Larger Eartips. I Highly Recommend using some LARGER Size Eartips for Better Bass performance sound. If you like LESS Bass, you will be fine with the Medium Eartips inside of the Box. Passive Noise Isolation is Good/Better also with LARGE size Eartips. If you use a Good set of Large Eartips, you can have Good Passive Noise/Sound Isolation for listening, or Blocking out any outside Noises. Philips Earbuds have Smart Sensors, and Good Ambient Transparency Mode that works fine well. The Philips T8505 True Wireless Earbuds weight and support in the Ears is pretty good, it is not too heavy, and the Earbuds overall support in Ears is not bad. But Earbuds are little Bulky or kind of Big, and Earbuds does stick out a bit from sides of Ears a bit. It does not bother me though. Philips Earbuds are NOT too big in size like the 1st Generation of Edifier TWS NB True Wireless Active Noise Canceling Earbuds. For some reason I like these Philips T8505 Active Noise Cancelling True Wireless Earbuds much better than my Edifier TWS NB True Wireless Active Noise Canceling Earbuds. I guess the Philips T8505 Active Noise Cancelling True Wireless Earbuds are MORE comfortable in Ears, than Edifier TWS NB Earbuds. The Philips T8505 True Wireless Earbuds certain do Sound BETTER than the Edifier TWS NB Earbuds. Earbuds do Twist and Lock into place in the Ears to stay a bit secure in the Ears, it is pretty good. I do not know if you can go running with Philips T8505 Active Noise Cancelling True Wireless Earbuds, the Earbuds might not stay 100% secure in place, during a lot of movement or activities. I use the Philips T8505 True Wireless Earbuds for sitting and listening to Music at work.Philips T8505 Active Noise Cancelling True Wireless Earbuds are Light and Earbuds are NOT heavy, and Earbuds are pretty Comfortable inside of the Ears. You can wear the Earbuds for 3 to 4 Hours easily without any discomfort, and without any fatigue. That is a Good thing. I think as soon as you OPEN the Case the Earbuds automatically Connect to Bluetooth, and I think the ANC automatically Turns On too straight out of the Charge Case. I have notice that Music seems to SOUND BETTER with the Active Noice Cancelling "ON:, instead of Off. Active Noise Cancelling and Ambient Modes work well. The ANC is not as good as Sony or Bose ANC. Now to the sound, out of the Box at first I was greeted with a Nice opulent Bass that is Crystal clear, Good and Clean and tight, with Good articulated Mids, and exciting, sparkling Highs & Treble - all done well and tastefully, when using a pair of Large Eartips. I would say the Earbuds sound pretty nice, music sounds really pretty good overall, and Music has a Good Sound Stage. The Earbuds do fit perfectly inside of the ears, and they block out a bit of noise too, I think the Wireless Earbuds have a much more Better, Cleaner, Smoother, Solid "BASS Performance" with ALL Songs and any type of Music. It's not bad. In my Opinion, I would even say the Philips Earbuds sound slightly BETTER than the Jabra 85t Earbuds. But everybody has different Tastes, Preferences, or choices. You might feel different or agree, it depends on what you like, when listening to music etc. As far as the Sound Signature, I would say that the Philips Earbuds sound almost like the Sony WF-1000XM3 Earbuds, but the Philips Earbuds sound a little more Natural overall in my opinion. The Philips Earbuds do get pretty Loud also in Volume as well. When I listen to Music I only listen to the Volume at up to about 75%, and that is Loud Enough or Adequate for listening. If you put the Philips Volume up to 100% with the built in 13mm Drivers inside of Philips Earbuds, the High 100% Volume will Hurt your Ears. Volume at about 75% is sufficient enough. It is also GOOD, you can also control the Music that you are listening to from the Philips T8505 True Wireless Earbuds APP itself. Philips App Music Control is like the Sony WF-1000XM3 True Wireless Earbuds App. Overall the Philips T8505 Active Noise Cancelling True Wireless Earbuds do Perform Very Well, and the Earbuds do sound very GOOD with Very GOOD Balanced Sound Quality, (Especially with using LARGER Size Eartips.) The Philips T8505 Active Noise Cancelling True Wireless Earbuds give you a Pretty GOOD Listening Audio Experience. It is Good set of True Wireless Earbuds all together. It's NOT Bad. I would say the sound quality is almost like the Sony WF-1000XM3 True Wireless Earbuds, or maybe the "Philips T8505 Active Noise Cancelling True Wireless Earbuds are maybe slightly a little "BETTER" than Sony WF-1000XM3 True Wireless Earbuds as far as Sound and comfort goes for the Ears. The Sony WF-1000XM3 True Wireless Earbuds are just a little bit more heavier & Too Bulky in the Ears. The Philips APP is sometimes a little slow, but that is NO real big deal. The APP and EQ and Functions still all works well, as they are supposed to. It is OK. After a couple of day now, I noticed/remembered that on the 1st or 2nd day of using Philips Earbuds, there might be a little bit of cutting in and out of the left & right Earbuds speakers when them getting warmed up, but after the 4th day of use for a few hours the Earbuds sound and perform totally Fine. The problem might have been from me just Streaming Music. It is the 4th day or 5th day now and the Philips Earbuds play Music Fine without the Earbuds cutting in and out. Everything with Sound performance sounds pretty great. I have found out that the Philips Earbuds certainly do need a several Days (or up to a week) of playing Music, or a lot of playing Time of music for the Earbuds to get used to, and for the Earbuds to Open up fully & Software to work and Earbuds to Sound 100% Better. I have to say after 5 Days of Testing, the Philips Earbuds seems to be working & performing Better and Better each day. The APP is working completely Fine, and Earbuds work Great, I am Pleased. Philips T8505 Earbuds are Good. As Far as Sound Quality these Philips Premium True Wireless ANC Earbuds do sound Phenomenal, & Amazing with the right LARGE Size Silicone Eartips on them! If you Buy the Philips T8505 Wireless Earbuds, make sure that you try them out for a many Days, or maybe a Week, and give the Earbuds enough Time, and so that you can get used to them. After a week everything should be functioning 100% properly without any issues. I have been pleased with the overall Sound Quality experience from Earbuds instantly, right out of the Box. Separate, individual, or multiple or Dual Drivers inside of Earbuds are for high-frequency and low-frequency sounds, and sometimes midrange sounds as well in music. One of the most popular driver technologies amongst high-end earphone enthusiasts is called the Balanced Armature driver. Balanced Armature Drivers are custom-tuned to handle one small slice of the audible frequency range for better Music Accuracy & Sound Quality. Balanced Armature Drivers create clearer, more accurate sound with sparkling detail for exceptional Improved music quality. The Philips Earbuds sound Crisp and Clean like the Philips Earbuds have a separate, or individual, or multiple or Dual Drivers and a Balanced Armature Driver inside of the Philips Earbuds. The Philips Earbuds have a more Natural and detailed sound than what is typically achieved with other True Wireless Earphones brands. The Audio Quality is strong enough, and the True Wireless Earbuds are really Good overall for any Music listening Sounds. Sound Quality is pretty Great and Balanced very well. I am pretty Pleased with them. As far as Sound Quality, The Philips T8505 Wireless Earbuds certainly do sound 10x's Better than the Jabra 85t Earbuds! Philips T8505 Wireless Earbuds make the Grade "A" & of 5 Stars definitely with the Sound Quality. Philips T8505 Wireless Earbuds are Pleasing to listen to with all Types of any Music. I would say Earbuds really do have Better Sound Quality than I expected, I would say they are well worth the asking Price. I would highly Recommend them, the Philips Earbuds are Good.

Not great as headphones, not noise canceling
These barely stay connected. It’s hard to shift from one device to another, you have to manually disconnect and reconnect every time. They easily fall out of box. One or the other frequently disconnects. The box for them does not wirelessly charge. They do not have any noise cancellation, regular headphones block just as much as these. They fall out easily and are very difficult to find. The sound quality is good (when they work). The charging contacts get dirty easily.11/23 They have now quit pairing entirely.

Great product after new firmware updates and 3rd party foam tips
UPDATE: I can now recommend this product. Philips pushed out a new firmware update that changed the play/pause functionality to a longer press. It no longer constantly pauses when I'm doing regular activities. Also, I found a third party company that sells foam style tips that fit these earbuds. Now they no longer fall out of my ear. Yes, it is an additional cost, and you do need to replace them every couple months (they will get dirty over time), but they make these perfect. Overall, after the firmware update and the new foam tips, I can say I am happy with this product, and I would recommend it. You may not need them, but at the very least the firmware update is a must-have, you can update it with your phone in just a few minutes (I did it on an iPhone, I'm assuming the Android works the same).I am leaving my earlier review because the positive points still stand, and if you have ears like mine (which I don't think are excessively big or small), you may need to order new tips from a 3rd party vendor.ORIGINAL REVIEW:The Philips T8505 earbuds sound great, there's no doubt about that. The bass comes through strong, and the noise cancellation works great. The ability to toggle ambient sound while having them on is another great feature that I love. The bad part is wearing them. For one, none of the sleeves they provide give a solid fit. Not sure what it is, but of all the earbuds I've owned (from various manufacturers), these never want to stay in. When working out, if I'm doing bent over rows, I just take the earbuds off because I know they will fall out. Putting a hat over them causes them to want to push out, either it's because they stick out too far or the fit isn't very tight. I think a squishy foam sleeve instead of rubber would solve this issue. I used that style with some Shure IEMs and they fit and would stay there without worry. The other issue is the sensitivity of the touch controls. Pretty much anything will cause the right earbud to respond to a touch. I can't put on a hat, or a face mask, or even adjust the earbud on the right without it either pausing or resuming. You perform the pause/resume operation by single-tapping the right earbud, but the thing likes to trigger constantly. I think the zone that responds to touch is too large and responds to any sort of pressure. You can't even touch the outside without it triggering. Previous wireless earbuds I've owned required the touch to be in the center of the earbud, so you could grab the outside and adjust it without it pausing. Still, every time I put on a winter hat to go outside when it's cold, the earbud pauses, and so it's a fight to get whatever I was listening to playing as the touch response constantly triggers.I really want to love these earbuds, since the sound quality is leaps and bounds better than the previous wireless earbuds were. With all the interface problems these have, I think I'm going to order another set of the previous earbuds I had (which I only replaced because I lost the charging case).

Not terrible, but could be a lot better.
I use them daily to listen to books while I work. They are connected to my kindle fire. They randomly will drop and pick back up. Almost every time I take them out of their charging case, they will say Bluetooth connected, but they don't actually connect, (or one does, but not the other) but then I put them back in the case for a second and pull them out ND they work like magic. Also if one of my colleagues comes in and I need to chat I take them out. If I set them down for a few minutes, they turn off and my Kindle starts reading the book out loud to the room. Another thing is I have to be careful when I reach up to adjust them of I'll change the settings. I wish they were simpler and more consistent. The sound and range are good, and the noise canceling works reasonably well.

They don’t stay paired with my iphone 12
The Phillips T8505 true wireless earbuds with ANC would not consistsntly connect to my iphone, and once connected they would too often lose pairing in one or both ear buds while listening to music and/or talking on phone. The ANC worked good and the available (free) app has an equalizer for audio optimizing. They just dropped out too often for acceptable use. Two stars…
