Great tool
Is what it is, works great for around the patio, go's with us in the camp trailer to clean up a camp spot. Use it all the time and am super happy with it. One of those tools that is a battery hog, take 2 with you. Was never intended to do what a big blower will do, but super handy. I use the biggest Stihl back pack blower made and my wife loves to detail behind me with this.

Amazing little lower!
This small mini-blower is exactly what I was looking for, something compact yet has the power to move copious quantities of air. This is especially handy in my shop when I need to blow out dust and wood chips from spaces not easily reached with a broom or vacuum cleaner. This little giant exceeded my expectations.

very light, strong, batteries last a long time.
replaced a Ryobi 40v that weighs a ton and old batteries that did not last. This Makita is much better. My only advice is to get the longer blowing nozzle at the short one tends to blow things all over the place.

Powerful for its size
This a great little shop blower. Doesn't have the power for leaf blowing or moving heavier debris. Nozzle is very short had to order the extension so as not to bend way over to use it.

Easiest way to clean out the garage
Every week I've been breaking down mountains of cardboard that have piled up from all the things our friends and family have shipped to help with our new baby. Part of this process requires cutting up all the cardboard with a jigsaw so it will fit in our recycling can. As you might imagine, cutting up all that cardboard leaves quite a mess in the garage.I had been sweeping up the mess every week like a noob until I decided to purchase this little blower and WOW has it made a difference. It's light, easy to swing around, and packs a serious punch. I now can have all the cardboard mess blown out of the garage in under two minutes. As a bonus, it works really well when I need to add a little extra burn power to the firepit out back.I was worried when I first got it that it was going to be too small to handle any sort of tasks I needed it for around the house, but that definitely has not been the case. It's now one of my favorite everyday tools.

Makita quality
Well, the Makita LXT battery series of tools has hooked me lately. I am a long time user of Makita, dating back to sometime in the mid-1970's. I still have/use some of the tools, they have never let me down. This blower is the latest of their tools in the tool-lineup. I love this one too! I learned a couple years ago in large leaf-blowers that having/using powerful 'winds' is not always best, and since then I generally use softer settings to round up whatever I am blowing. This small blower is going to be very handy in my shop, garage and many places. Its 'wind' is a good one and I just really like the feel of its rubbery handle. It feels like high quality. Note: I wasn't sure if the blower nozzle could be used for the suction port and yes, it is designed to fit that as well. Maybe not too useful without a fitted vacuum bag to collect the debris...but I say this just to let you know.I will take this, along with the LXT drill and vacuum and the battery on our travel trailer trips as handy things to have that do not take up much room.

A must-have tool for any shop and any home
I have an older version of this same tool that I have used countless times over the years. I have two homes so I bought this for my second shop. It is far and away the one of the most useful tools in my shop. It makes clean-up a breeze (no pun intended) and is great for blowing leaves off my car as well as many other tasks. Plenty of power in a compact and relatively quiet package. I HIGHLY recommend it!

small, but powerful
got this thing in the mail today and was so pumped! I've always been jealous seeing my neighbors with their leaf blowers. it is small, around 20" total so I really wouldn't even call this a "leaf blower" but it moves air. can't comment on battery yet, but I used it for almost 30 minutes on high speed on a battery thats been in my drill for months which I use periodically.the part I love best about this is you can easily hold it with 1 hand, it is very easy to maneuver. no backpack, gas fumes, or hand fatigue.so far this is what I used it for and would say it did a great job:-blowing dust/dirt out of my garage-blowing cob webs off-blowing dirt and debris off my driveway and sidewalk-blowing dead bugs from the inside of my light fixtures-blowing dirt and debris from my pool deckmy 5 year old daughter loved using it, she had to use 2 hands but maneuvered it easily, she had lots of fun. had to teach her how to blow the dirt "away" from the house but she did it. great "chore" for the little ones if you can teach them that part.if you are buying this for a yard that yields giant bags of leaves, its not the right tool for the job, but if you are looking for a general blower for around the exterior (or interior) of your house, it is perfect.no complaints but a wish list item for Makita: model numbers! I saw several of these around the same size for under $100 (with no battery) and really wish Makita had a place on their site where you could compare the models to see what the differences were.
