worked for 2001 BMW Z3. Nice that the wiring harness and antenna adaptor are together. At first the radio didn't work after I connected it, but then I made sure to solder all the wires. I had not soldered the blue and white wires because someone online mentioned those. I soldered them and plugged the radio in. It still did not turn on, and I prayed to ask God to help me. Then I disconnected the faceplate and reattached it, and it worked. The wires are labeled so that is helpful. The metal connectors are a bit loose so I thought that might affect it but it turned out ok.

Worked great for 2000 BMW Z3. Used some good twist connectors and I was off and running. Everything is fully functional...even dimming with the headlights on and I can put the stock stereo in (not that I'd want to) if needed. Cant go wrong and...you do need the antenna adapter to work with most aftermarket stereos.

Must have to change radio in 1998 BMW Z3
Fit good to replace radio in my 97 BMW Z3. Make sure you read instructions and hook up correct blue wire for amp to come on. Do not hook to blue power antenna lead.
