Small unit that does its job
Ok so this isn't rocket science, the unit is quite small and does it's job. Once you have mastered pairing units it is simple to use and it's range is quite good. It also has a small 3.5mm jack type extension which allows fitting where there are obstructions (say on the back of a redio or stereo unit). I have tried it with an old PC (no bluetooth) and it allowed good transmission of signal even through a concrete block wall. A second pairing allows for both of us to listen to the TV using our wireless headphones/pods. This could be really usefull for people with a hearing impairment if they have headphones with independent volume controls. In use I have found battery life to be about five hours paired to a single headphone but the unit can charge at the same time as being in use, a really good feature, as long as you have a USB point or a powerbank even long flights/use should be fine.On the down side the 'manual' is tiny and hard to read. Pairing two units is a bit hit and miss as I found the unit did not show the led's as indicated in the manual. Misleading also as follows. To Pair, "Turn on unit, then press on/off button until LED shows" doing this just turns off the unit. Despite these errors I managed to figure out how to do it so a bit of patience and trial and error is required. The second pin should allow connection to the old style aeroplane sockets but I'm not sure how useful this is as it seems to work just fine on one pin only.Overall I would say these are good value for the money subject to how well they last in use. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars on everything is the uncertainty of battery and the manual.

If I Could Give ZERO Stars, That's What This Junk Would Get...
I can't put lower than 1 Star, but I would if I could.Firstly, LAG,!! LAG LAG LAG!! It stated in the publicity/features page on Amazon that this transmitter has NO lag. They are designed specifically so that you can listen to an analogue source, or *anything* that has a 3.5mm stereo socket instead of Bluetooth. They talk about replacing the low-quality in-flight wired headphones with this transmitter and your favourite pair of buds. Essentially, plug this thing into the 3.5mm socket, pair your buds to it, and enjoy the in-flight entertainment.Yeah. Well, good luck with that. Every film, music promo, comedy programme, or Zombie Nightmare Invasion series, is now going to resemble a really terrible English dub of the cheapest foreign film. By my non-scientific estimation, the lag is somewhere between a half and two-thirds of a second delay. Just enough for it to be really, really annoying.I gave it plenty of chances to dazzle me. I worked with many different films and series, from Netflix to Amazon Prime, to YouTube. No good. I put the transmitter on my knee, no more than a couple of feet from the ear buds, and the lag never changed. Just so very annoying. But hey, said I to myself, it's okay. I'll simply use it with my MP3 player - lag won't hurt *that* will it? It won't matter at all, right? Wrong! The sound quality of this transmitter was just awful. Like the playback from a naff old cassette recorder from the mid-70s with a no-brand cheapie tape. I tried my MP3 player's graphic equaliser, that just made things worse. And to add more woe to my frustrated tears - it was so quiet. So your gut reaction is to (as the classic song implores us) Pump Up The Volume. This I did, and It distorted horribly! Running out of options, you think "That's alright. I'll leave the input volume alone, and take the earbuds up to maximum instead" Well, then you just hear your music somewhere far away, swamped by amplified hiss, hum, crackles, and whimpers. Oh, sorry, the whimpering was me.I tried. I really tried to get this to work properly. But that lag is built-in. There nothing anyone can do about it. And the sound reproduction, if you ignore the lag, is pitiful. It's rubbish, it doesn't do what it promisees, avoid the thing at ALL costs!

"Great Device and fantastic service"
I purchased this Bluetooth device on 7 Dec 2021 and received it very quickly. I was having some technical problems in connecting my device and contacted the company for some device. I was contacted by Iris very promptly who assisted me to connect the bluetooth device. As i was unable to connect the device, Iris promptly sent me another upgraded device in the post which i received the next day. The device was fantastic and connected immediately without too much effort from me. I was very pleased with the product but more importantly was very impressed with the customer service i received from Iris. She was so helpful and made sure the problem resolved. I am a very satisfied customer and would recommend any product purchase from this company. I would recommend this device as not overly priced and does the job.

Bluetooth transmitter
This item worked well on cheap Tiger brand Bluetooth headphones with no lag in the sound. With Jabra Bluetooth in ear phones the was a noticeable lag.Strange..

Sound lags behind
Ok this is good for music, I tested on my tv but the sound lags behind visuals, I think this might be the same on an aeroplane bit I will find out next month

In-flight entertainment
Bought to enable me to use my Bluetooth noise cancelling headphones with the in-flight entertainment on recent flights. Paired easily and worked well on 2 different planes, no discernible lag between sound and image. Battery life around 5 hours, so you may need to recharge on a long flight. Happy with this gadget, it has earned its place in my travel kit.

Too much lag
Bought this primarily for allowing me to use my (aptX) earbuds with my Panasonic Viera tv. Found it quite awkward to pair with the earbuds. When I eventually did, the audio latency was too much for it to be workable (felt like approx 1 second delay at its worst between video and audio). No response when I reached out to the customer support email provided with the transmitter, so these will be getting returned. Note: in case it helps anyone else, it took me a while to realise I had to set the audio of the tv to headphones... it wasn't just a case of plugging in the transmitter or regular headphones!)
