I have wanted an Irish wool sweater for a long time. In traveling to Scotland this fall, I felt the perfect opportunity to get one. I wanted one that was large enough that I could wear layers under yet still flattering enough to fit nicely drapping the waist to the lower hip area to lay well over jeans or leggings. The picture of it on a woman seemed it was longer/slimmer than it really was upon order. I am 5'5", 128 lbs. I like to wear yoga leggings or fitted jeans with boots and like my bulkier sweaters to lay evenly down to the mid buttock are as appeared in the picture. I ordered the medium and while I loved the color and the material...thick wool but still nicely soft...it only hung to the waist, not as long and more wider than I had hoped or saw in the pictures. In all my countless hours of research for the perfect sweater I had in my mind's eye, this was the only that I loved in the pictures. And the price was the best out of all the places I searched. While I have not replaced this sweater/reordered, if I do, I may try the large to see if the length in more of what I desire without adding more width. Have not decided to do so yet as well as the grey seems to be sold out more.

I'm really happy with this sweater, it's soft and worm, no itchy spots at all. It looks really nice with a pair of skinny jeans. I'm 5"9 and is its half way down my bum. Size small. The grey is really pretty as well. I also like to buy my wool garments that are not made in China . The wool comes from Ireland. It's the more humane choice.

This sweater is very warm but I can't find any way to wear it that looks flattering. I am 5 feet 7, blonde with hair a bit below my shoulders, weigh 145 pounds and have a C cup. This sweater just looks like a big green burlap sac on me. The collar is so big that I think it requires long hair for balance, plus a slim frame with a small bust. Also, please note that the color is more of a washed-out swamp green, not the brilliant green it may look like in the picture. I still gave it a 4 because the quality is predictably outstanding and the sweater is extremely warm. My problem is with style.

I love this sweater so much! I'm 5'2 and 110 lbs with a petite frame and while XS fit a little larger than I was expecting, the drape is good and it still looks perfect on. It fits me almost exactly like the model, which is somewhat contrary to what other reviews led me to expect. It's keeping me very warm here in Maine while still being able to be dressed up, which is exactly what I was looking for.

I was hesitant to order because of fit, but turned out to be fine: ordered XS and am a 5’1” woman who usually wears a size 4. I was attracted to this sweater because I love big cowl necks in winter and while I already have a traditional natural-color Aran sweater, I liked the green. The color green is incredibly lovely, it is a blend of teal-green and olive yarns, a very heathered look.The drawbacks: it is definitely a heavy sweater, don’t consider unless you live where it gets cold in winter. Also the wool is slightly scratchy, which is not a problem for me as I was planning to wear it over a thin cotton turtleneck, also in green.

Love the color and the sizing is perfect. I'm 5'4'' 138 lb and I ordered a small. One of the stitches in the back neck flap was undone though.. I sorta pulled it and tried to tie it from underneath the flap. I will say that this wool is very itchy and uncomfortable so you will need to wear another lightweight turtleneck underneath or your bound to get a rash on your neck, chest and arms. I just ordered a turtleneck through Amazon to solve the itch problem since you cannot wash it and therefore use fabric softener to fix. Alot of reviews claimed this wasn't itchy..I don't see how anyone could put this on and be comfortable as is. Anyways this is a beautifully designed sweater. The stitch issue may have been resolved not sure how my tug and tie will hold up in time though. Going to Iceland January 20-26, 2020 so I hope that this sweater keeps me nice and warm!

This sweater is so comfortable and warm. It moves with you without binding. Perfect layer in cold, wet weather. It was my constant companion during my February trip to the UK. Would definitely like to try another in a different color/style. The knitting patterns are lovely, like a sampler of various stitches that adds to the beauty of this sweater. High quality yarn and construction. Looks great with jeans or dress/leggings and hiking boots :) Very happy with this item!

I love everything about it..color, (natural) ,design, fit, length, looks expensive and is well made.. I am size4-6 and ordered a medium and it was too big, sent it back for small, fit perfect with a thin tee underneath..costumer service was great! No problems with return and getting the new one fast..

Love this jumper. It's warm, soft, comfortable and looks great. I'm a size 12 which, according to Amazon's size guide, means I should require a size medium, however I'd discovered when ordering jumpers via Amazon before that this is not strictly accurate and that a size small fits me better.

Beautiful quality jumper, so heavy . bought for Christmas so not worn it yet. I am a good size 12, had there been a medium available I would have bought that. I am glad there wasn't because the small is perfect. Medium would have been to big. Hope this helps

Lovely fit and material. I was looking for a “mossy green”, this is slightly more “pine”:-), more vibrant, but still great.

Non itchy,good quality,well made and fits well.
