A.maaa.zing!!
Yesterday, on Black Friday, my little kitty got spayed. I did not think ahead about what I should have to be prepared for this. I was asked by the vet, the morning of the surgery, if I wanted to purchase an e-collar. I said, "A what?" I had never heard of it. So, I got a horrible plastic cone with a strip of gauze to use to tie it around her neck. I was charged $15 for it ($15!!!). It's horrible (although, I admit, it has been quite comical watching kitty try to walk around. Poor thing!)! To make matters even worse, I was told it had to stay on for 14 days (14 days!!!???). So, I quickly went to Amazon to find alternatives and saw this recovery suit. There are many sellers, which have pretty much the same suit. Since it was Black Friday, I got a steal of a deal at only $7.99 for the pink one. The only thing I was bummed about was that it said it wouldn't arrived until Monday the 30th. All other sellers had a date of either Monday or Tuesday. So I went with this one, because of the Black Friday sale price. Last night I checked my order status and saw that it was going to arrive on Sunday. I was pretty happy with that! One day sooner (because I knew it this entire weekend would be a nightmare with this cone). Well, to my absolute amazement...I checked my order status an hour ago and it said it was DELIVERED!! My daughter ran to the mailbox and, sure enough...her little pink body suit had arrived! I am beyond thrilled right now! Immediately we put the suit on. I was a little concerned at first, because it looked really, really tiny. But it just fits her (it may be a smidge too tiny, but hopefully she won't wiggle out of it). I got the size small. The papers from the vet says she weighs 5.6 pounds. She kept falling over while wearing it, but I think once she gets used to it, she will be ok with it. It's a MILLION times better than the cone! Right now she's curled up in her plush round bed, with her heating pad, inside her zip up playpen. She's looks much more comfortable than she did all last night with the cone on. I also ordered a plush pillow-type neck collar (looks like a chocolate donut with sprinkles), because I worried that she may still try to mess with her tummy. If she does, I'll put the donut collar on her along with the suit (and this suit will stay on 24/7 until her 14 day recovery is up). And, maybe the donut won't even be needed (the donut, along with a calming collar and calming spray won't arrive until next week Wednesday...yikes!). So, I have to say...I am beyond satisfied with this purchase! Not only was the price incredible, but the speed of delivery amazes me! THANK YOU SOOOOOO MUCH!!! This is a life-saver for my kitty (and for my daughter and me!)! And, not to mention, it is absolutely adorable on her!Update: It's been 23 days since we got the little pink leotard. Within a few days I ended up ordering a size medium. Our kitty is 6 pounds now, and the medium fits so much better. I love that this has a little pull thing to tighten at the top of the neck so she can't wiggle out (not all suits have that feature). After healing for 14 days after her surgery, we took this leotard off (we call it a leotard). She enjoyed grooming herself and then the maniac kitty came out again. When she's "naked" she whips around the house like a crazed animal. When she wears the leotard she immediately calms down. I can not tell you enough what a LIFE SAVER this recovery suit is and that she STILL wears it! I try not to have it on her 24/7, so she has time to groom herself and be a little free...but when she starts going berserk again (and she always does), we put this back on and she's a much calmer kitty again. I had to take her to the vet again today, and I had her wear it because it's freezing cold outside. When I went back to pick her up, everyone was asking where I got it. I wasn't sure if they'd think negatively about me having her still wear it, and I told them what I just told you now...they were all for it and thought it was a great idea. When I got home, I took our kitten out of her carrier and broke out laughing hysterically....the vet people had put her suit back on her upside down! The velcro was on the tummy area and there was nearly no room for her tail, and no way to go potty. I don't know what in the world they were thinking, but it was so funny. Kitty didn't care to walk around like that. I fixed it, and all is fine now. Anyway, I just wanted to update anyone reading this that this is a super thing to get for your cat....not just when they are recovering from surgery, but forever. I'm going to get a few more colors. :o)

Great after spay!
This in a small fit my 6 pound cat perfectly and was way less of a pain than dealing with the cone. I’m very satisfied.

Great purchase, be careful on the sizing!
These worked perfectly for keeping my cat from picking at the staples on her stomach, and I would definitely buy these again if I lost them or something. Especially at the price point.I do want to show the difference in the sizing because it’s worth noting. I initially ordered the medium (it came with cat hair on it and a small stain, so it was likely a return but I washed it, not a big deal). What was a big deal, was that despite measuring my cat ahead of time for sizing(She’s 13 inches neck to tail and around her torso), it was way too small. I could stretch it over her back legs because the fabric is nicely stretchy, but there was no way to get it to close at the top. It looked really dumb, but she couldn’t get it off so I kept it on her and ordered the large. When the large came, it was significantly larger. The leg holes were bigger and the length was much longer. Be aware the difference in sizing. If you’re on the fence, order up a size!

Much better than the cone of shame!
I read reviews ad nauseum before settling on this one. Our kitten just got clipped and just flipped out with that cone as soon as we set her down. The only way she would have worn that cone is if I held her for the entire 2 weeks of recovery. The most important thing is that she could not get it off. A few hours later, it she was fine. It didn't exist in her mind. It protected her from getting to the stitches from thew operation. I like that it's light weight. The wound was able to heal without incident. If it was a heavy suit, it could have created healing problems. In a few days, she was pretty much back to normal and seemed to actually like it. We bought 2 because I thought a trip to the litter box could have been a disaster. That was never an issue. It's a quality product that excelled in every way. after the 2 week healing period, we removed it and put them in the laundry basket. The next morning, she had retrieved them and placed them in her basket. It's been a while and she still carries one of them around the house. I rarely give 5 stars to anything. Great product!!

So great!
I love this! Our kitten was spayed and we bought this onesie so she didn't have to wear a cone. She HATED the cone and couldn't eat, drink, or groom with it. She would get food and litter and water in it every time she tried to do anything on her own.We weren't sure if she'd like the onesie, but seemed to understand it was one or the other and we didn't have to struggle too much with getting it over her head. She LOVES this. While she still can't groom her whole body, she does get to wipe her face off. She can also go to the bathroom and the hole in the back hasn't gotten poop or anything on it (which I wasn't sure of). She has a lot more freedom, it's a lot less work for us as we don't have to take her cone on and off, and I feel better with having the incision covered as we have another cat in the house. She is just under 5 lbs and we got her a small which worked perfectly. The arm holes are a little big for her but it hasn't been an issue.

Buy this Suit!
My cat hated this, but I loved it! She is a little escape artist and although she tried very hard to get her suit off, she couldn’t! It was actually so well made we didn’t even have her wear the little donut collar we got her (if you can’t tell by the pics, Bean was not amused lol). It survived the 2 weeks she wore it easily, though it did come through with a couple bite marks 😂 We washed it twice and it came clean both times and also let her have some supervised time out of it daily.I have recommended this to everyone I know after they get their animals spayed! It’s a great alternative to a traditional e collar.

Fits but not for every cat
This fit my cat and was bought after her spay surgery but she simply could not manage to walk. She thought she was dying and would just fall over and acted like her legs were broken. Perhaps if you buy with enough time before surgery happens and get your cat used to it then it will work great, I had to resort to the donut for my kitten.

Good for the description it's meant for but not for getting a cat neutered.
