Blue Buffalo Nudges Jerky Cuts Natural Dog Treats, Steak, 10oz Bag

My two rescue dogs Buddy (12-13 and Charlie (5-7) love these treats and love to give them.I called ,emailed the company to find out what the phosphorus content was in each treat. The lady emailed me back and told me they did not have that information. REALLY ????Our old Buddy has kidney disease and does not have much time left. I don't want to give my Charlie something that may cause him kidney problems, ALL dog food manufactures should be required by law to list phosphorus and salt content , they are kidney killers for all dogs! While these are wonderful treats, moist and easy to chew until I get an answer I will no longer buy them. I am not going to hasten my dogs death. Update on my review yesterday we had to put our old Buddy down, his kidneys just gave out, so did these treats add to his death? I don't know?? But, my little Charlie will not be getting them until I get an answer and SOMEONE has to know!

I got a bag of jerky and a bag of grillers,the grillers looked and smelled fine. The Jerky looked like cobwebs were growing all over each piece. It's horrible and smells like old book covers..see my pictures!

I am not really sure about this review. I have been buying at least 4 bags of this a months for many months. I have a lot of dogs and they are all individuals. I have one dog who will only eat this product. Last week the treats arrived as usual and I opened them up and offered part of one to the connoisseur. He turned his head and walked away. I smelled the bag and something was not right. Unusual smell. Not rancid or anything like that but when you buy as many of these as I do you know how they smell...and so do the dogs. Just didn't smell right. I took the bag up and rather than just cross them off my list, I ordered another for comparisons sake. The new bag was just fine. It was best used by 10/01/17. The bad bag was best by 11/06/17,,,1276..MSU 01 1276 01:28. I believe the amount of this product I have purchased might not qualify me as an expert, but I know when something doesn't pass the smell test. As I mentioned I am not sure what it means. It might only mean I am out the price of a bag of treats. I will buy more but if it happens again I will let this forum know.

These must really be something--the dogs beg all the time for them and practically inhale them. Can't keep them in the pantry too long--they disappear. Wish they were cheaper, but then they probably wouldn't be the hit they are. Two old dogs with terminal illnesses are getting what they want for as long as they are able to want something--these are our furbabies and, since they are so old and sick, we are letting them call the shots while they can. They have been so good for 14 years, they deserve a reward.

It was impossible for me to read the ingredients on the back of the product bag so I assumed that this was all beef....the vendor claims that the main ingredient is beef ....the product is steak jerky. So I was dismayed to find that this has chicken to which my pooch is sensitive ....and indeed she became sick after a trial.

First let me say that my dog loves these treats and I would have given them 5 stars. However, I contacted the company requesting information regarding the sodium content as it isn’t listed anywhere - not even on their website. My dog has just been diagnosed with an enlarged heart so this info is important to me. They never responded. I will not purchase these again.

My dogs really love these. Normally we buy the chicken but I decided I'd try the steak flavor. Bringing home treats mean having to show the package to the dogs first. Then they get all excited. Tails wagging, jumping up and down, just typical dog excitement. I showed them a box of peanut butter flavored dog treats. Sniff, sniff. No real excitement. I got the steak treats and I swear they knew what the product was by the bag design! I let them smell it and they got all excited. They devoured them. A big hit in my house!

I purchased this product for my two pups. Opened the package only to discover there was a huge chunk of the treats that were molding, covered in nasty white gunk and not suitable to feed my two dogs. I would not recommend buying these and I will not be buying any of these pet products again. Best by date states on package 8-7-19.
