7 mos. of continuous use
Had this for 7 mos. and it is working very well, filter is just looking spotty with accumulated "stuff" and scrubbed it, still working well, good to be able to extend it til new filter comes. No bad taste in water yet but will replace anyway. Filters are expensive to replace every 6mos based on recommendation, but worth the peace of mind.

I bought a second pitcher
I bought my first one 4 years ago and its lasted all the way through. I recently bought a second one just because I felt like I should get a new one after a while. The filters are still good from the old one, but I kinda like to just be sure so I bought another one...I'm a fan of good filtered water. This has been my favorite water filter system of all the rest I've tried. Seems to be a better company than the Berkey, which is also a good company but I feel they lack in efficiency and consitency. ProPure wins in my experience.

Love this!
This works great for 2 people and i’m excited to use it in our camper. We have a larger ProOne as well but the filters are more affordable for this one so we wanted to have options. Best tasting water you will ever drink! We are big time ProOne fans!! You should be aware that the filtering process is EXTREMELY SLOW for the first 3-5 times so that scared us at first but now it’s very fast and we don’t mind waiting between pitchers.

Unusable. Terrible Design. Also, Literally takes almost 24hrs for water to pass
The media could not be loaded. FINAL UPDATE: proone says it's supposed to be like that (!?) And will not send a replacement. What a joke of a company. It's *supposed* to leak unfiltered water along w filtered water?? Not to mention that there is doubtlessly mold in those crevices that i can't even get to! I've always hand washed this thing. The lady told me to just add less water (so you can only fill the hopper less than half way at a time). So that means the thing takes a day to filter a few cups of water *and* you have to add a little water at a time, constantly, otherwise you're getting unfiltered water dripping out the top. = if you don't want to babysit your water pitcher, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere. Not a company I will be doing business with again. Esp mad because I'd bought half a dozen filters not too long ago!Orig review:My main gripe is that there is a design flaw in the lid. It's not solid, so it leaks unfiltered water along w the filtered water. Completely defeating the point. It's esp aggravating because they compromised the lid haphazardly.....just for their Logo!?!? Unacceptable. This unit has always been washed by hand so it's not an issue of warping. They need to fix this. Will update when they do.UPDATE: I've twice found green algae in the pitcher. I hand wash once a month and swap filters every 6 months - how is this possible? The water is supposed to be clean!!! Now I'm wondering if the water we're drinking is *worse* than unfiltered tap.Orig review:People saying this takes forever were not kidding. Fill it up at night and it's not even half way filtered come morning. Not very practical. Also, the instructions could have been better: please put the 'DO NOT' list BEFORE the instructions. Not after!!! By the time I got to them, I'd already done one of the things listed not to do (washed the filter w a sponge that had been used w detergent). It also didn't bother to mention to avoid washing the filter when it gave instructions to wash the pitcher. Probably a good time to mention that!! I honestly didn't realize that the whole thing was a membrane so washed it same as I washed the pitcher. All that said, well made and great water. Just keep topping it off and get an extra jug to store surplus water. And stock up on filters! You never know when they'll be discontinued

LOVE ProOne -- pitcher is too slow.
I won't drink anything but ProOne filtered water, using silver-infused filter inserts---but this pitcher is a real disappointment! It takes TWO HOURS for TWO GLASSES OF WATER. What went wrong with this design??? The countertop filter makes a gallon and a half in about an hour. I store it in jars so we can grab some in a hurry. I LOVE that it removes fluoride and heavy metals from our town's well water. [former farmland] I was all set to keep a cold pitcher of water in the fridge, but why bother when it's barely enough for one thirsty person every two hours? So, I held onto it, in spite of the price, "just in case." The pitcher would be hard to include in a picnic basket or bugout bag because it doesn't seal. too bad

GREAT PRODUCT
THIS IS A GREAT PRODUCT, I JUST BELIEVE THEY NEED TO PROVIDE MORE DETAILS AS TO EXACTLY WHAT IS BEING FILTERED OUT AND HOW. ALSO HOW DO YOU KNOW WHEN THE FILTER NEEDS TO BE REPLACED? INSTRUCTIONS WERE A LITTLE GENERAL FOR ME, BUT I WAS GLAD I BOUGHT IT. I WILL NEED TO TRY IT AGAIN WITH SOME MORE FILTERS. I LIKED THE FRUIT INFUSER BECAUSE I LOVE CITRUS, ORANGES, LIMES, LEMONS IN MY WATER.

Taste The Difference
I bought this water filter and pitcher for my daughter who lives in the city. She wanted Fluoride removed from the water she drinks and I wanted everything else removed, so this filter seemed to be the best choice aside from an in-line. The verdict: she is very pleased to have great tasting water to drink and she likes the fruit fusion feature. I will be getting one for myself.

Recommend
Once two cycles of water went through the filter the process of filtering sped up considerably. After about 6 pitchers of water, I needed to use the rough side of the enclosed sponge to clean the outside of the ceramic filter under cold running water. This improved the filtering time. I tested the water using a 16 point water test strip by Verify purchased here on Amazon. All of the contaminants measured by this were 0.0 ppm after the third water pitcher filtering. I was particularly interested in eliminating fluoride from my water and that was at 0.0 ppm. I did not test for bacteria. I used city water from my faucet. I like the idea that I can filter water from other sources if I am not able to access city water. I am very pleased with this water pitcher. It works well for me. I can filter ahead and store my water in my own glass container. I drink about a gallon of water every day. Two persons would need a second pitcher.
