I use a flat iron most days because I hate drying my hair and when I let it air dry, I have curls. I haven't used a straightening brush before, so keep in mind that I have no experience with other straightening brushes to compare with this Cayzor Ionic Hair Straightener Brush.Pros: Heats quickly and brushing from underneath allows you to style a little more than you can with a flat iron. This also means it takes a little more effort to get the absolute flat-straight that you get with a flat iron, but I actually prefer the effect of straight with more volume.While it seems like a small thing, another pro is that there is an attached velcro wrap for the cord so it doesn't get damaged, tangled or frustrating when not in use.There's also a storage bag that would be good for travel, though make sure it's completely cool before using it.The box is also nice if you plan to give this as a gift. If you're like our crazy family, you will save the box and laugh when bald Grandpa opens his gift and thinks you gave him a hair straightener.Cons: None (now that I know how to actually use it, thanks to customer service reaching out to me after they read my review!)... keep reading for details.....(I originally wrote this): The handle is awkward because the buttons are easy to hit (adjusting the temp or turning it completely off). Not a deal breaker, but something to be aware of when you're using it, because you have to adapt how you hold it- not like you naturally hold a brush, which is rather ironic given what it is. EDIT: I was contacted by customer service and they told me I can lock the temp by pressing + and - at the same time to avoid accidentally changing the temp or turning it off. IT WORKS! Not only do I have nothing negative to say, I can now attest to the prompt and courteous service. :-)Overall, it's reasonably priced and worth a try. I've not used it for a long time, so this is my first impression review. I will update if something major changes- otherwise, consider it a reasonably priced option for stying curly hair.

I thought it wouldn’t work on short hair but it actually does!I have short hair but very fizzy at some spots, especially in the front and the side, drive me crazy. If used to use regular flat-hair straightener but that would make my hair too flat sometimes. This hair straightener brush reduces the fizziness but still keep some volume and texture for my hair. Crazy, I thought it wouldn’t work but it did!Packing is neat. Come with a glove and a bag for storage which is nice. The instructions are easy to follow. There are adjustable temperatures from 170 to 450 F degree. Temperature will increase/decrease very quickly and you can see it on the display (like an oven!) so you don’t have to wonder if it’s warm enough yet like with some other straighteners. This is a full size straightener so it wouldn’t take much time if you have long/a lot of hair.It’s also not as pricey as other similar products on the market. It does the job. Customer Service is great and they have Life Time Warranty!

I just got mine a few minutes ago and tried it out right away. I have fine hair and used the 350° setting. It heats up really fast and is much easier to use than a regular straightener. It also straightens your hair a lot quicker. I have medium length hair and it only took a couple minutes to do it all. I am hoping it will be healthier for my hair. I feel like the heat is not on it as long so will be less damaging. I only used it once so far, but I can see it will save me a lot of time and effort styling my hair. It seems well made and quality appliance. If you want to straighten your hair or reduce frizz I would definitely recommend this. I also ordered it on Friday night and got it Sunday afternoon. Totally happy and it does everything it says it will. My hair is not super curly but it has some wave and gets frizzy and tangles easily. I don't like to spend a lot of time on my hair or use a bunch of products. I'm thinking of trying Olaplex #6 because I lighten my hair I don't think I will need any additional products. I included a photo I forgot to take a before but you can see how smooth my hair is and it took less than 5 minutes. I like to straighten my hair because it's easier than curling it and it looks more shiny and finished than just air drying it. I don't blow dry because it's a bother and and I really only want to use one heat tool on it. I think if I use good heat and color safe products since I'm not really leaving this brush on my hair that long I won't have problems with it getting dried or breaking. I hope this helps. I absolutely love this brush! My hair is fine to average but very very thick and slightly wavy. If I let it air dry naturally, it is unruly and frizzy. If I blow it dry, it straightens the waves but still leaves it slightly frizzy. Therefore I need something (product and straightening iron) to tame my hair. Now I am able to blow dry my hair and then brush through it with the Cayzor Straightener Brush a few times and I am finished. I use it on the 420 degree setting and have been so happy with the results. I like it much better than a straightening iron for a few reasons:1. It leaves my hair feeling silky but there is still a lot of body2. It is so much easier to use because I literally just blow dry and then brush through it a few times (like I would if I were using a regular brush).3. I don't have to worry about doing small sections of hair one at a time. They give you a glove to use to keep from burning your hands, but I have not needed it. Someone with more coarse, unruly, kinky or very curly hair might actually need to use the glove but I have loved that I have not needed it at all.4. I don't have to use any other product at all. The first few times I tried it, I used product (Kenra Luxe One Miracle Spray) but much less than I normally use, but now I find that I really do not need anything extra to get the results I want.I was not really expecting this product to work so well and be so easy to use so I am pleasantly surprised at how much I LOVE it. And as an added bonus it comes with a nice thick velvety travel/storage bag.

I have thick curly hair, and this just wouldn't tame it. Hope others have better success.
