Jayden Faux Leather Swivel Barstool, 26" Counter Height, Black an Gray

My bar counter top is really high and I thought it might look odd having these but after an hour of researching what height online for my countertops I thought- what the hell. I love the mid century look and they actually are comfy. They swivel around and just look beautiful. I ordered the “new-used/shipping box may be damaged” ones for both of these and they came out perfect! Also was able to purchase 2 for almost the price of 1! I highly recommend these stools. Just buy them! The only thing I recommend if you have hardwood flooring is to buy the little sticky pads that go under the legs. Chairs are really beautiful. Somewhat light weight and there are rough spots on the wood that could do with some light sanding. The instructions show bolts C and D which are of different lengths. The diagram shows bolt D to be the longer one, but bolts C are listed in the parts section as the longer one. Use the longer one on the front side. Got pretty good at assembly by the time got to the 4th one. Lay the seat upside down on the floor. lay the legs on top and loosely start the two short bolts in the back holes. Tilt the legs slightly and place the spacers between the seat and the legs assembly. Put in the longer bolts. Tighten all. There is a red ribbon that says it is attached to the hardware card. None were. They provide spare bolts. Nice touch.

Don't buy these counter stools! We were very disappointed in these counter stools.1. The color is much darker than the online picture. I purchased three counter stools to blend with my natural cherry table. These are a dark walnut and no where near the color advertised online. The seat is also a much darker gray then shown.2. When I tried to return these I was informed that we needed to return them directly to the seller at our shipping cost ($130) and that the seller imposes a restocking fee. I may have overlooked it but I saw nothing stating these additional fees at the time I ordered them.3. We took a closer look at the stools hoping we could perhaps refinish them to a lighter color. Surprise, these stools are made out of mdf and are NOT wood.4. We decided to bite the bullet and live with the stools. To our horror, the finish scraped off the top of the stool the first day we had them when they were slid under our counter top. The MDF was exposed as a wide, off white scratch which I then had to fill in with a brown magic marker. Head explodes at this point!!!Thoroughly disappointed!

I read the other reviews about receiving the wrong product. I ordered anyway, hoping to be one of the people who received the correct color. I did not win the gamble. I ordered 3 gray chairs, the boxes were labeled as gray on the package description, but all three chairs were brown. :( I saw other reviewers who received gray chairs. I ended up returning all 3 because they were too dark for my kitchen. I decided to buy from a different furniture brand all together because I didn’t want to chance getting an incorrectly labeled chair again. They look and feel amazing, though.

This is a mid-century modern chair that goes perfectly with an existing high table. It actually looks better than the existing chairs, so I think I'm going to buy another one. One of the nicest things, aesthetically, is that the top of the chair back is low, and comes flush with the top of the table. Thus, the room panorama doesn't have anything obstructing the view, yet the nice features of the chair are still visible to the eye.One thing I will say... this is perhaps the first time I've had to call the company for assembly directions. The printed directions are not clear - you'll see what I mean if you order the product. However, I made a quick call to Armen Living and spoke with someone right away, who clarified which screw went to the front, which went to the back and which heeded the washer. I would purchase this item again - I'm going to wait a month or so and see how it holds up.

From the box it was shipped in, to the way it was packaged, to the ease of assembly this was top shelf all the way. The manufacturer obviously takes a great deal of pride in their work. They produced an excellent product.The legs come fully assembled as do the seat and back. You need to put in four bolts to connect the two parts. That's it!Well done. Certainly a five star recommendation.

These look and feel amazing! I love them so much...EXCEPT the wood finish comes off very quickly with minimal use. Within the first couple hours of having them they all had some wood varnish/color worn off after very light contact with the counter. As you can see, if a person turns the chair as they leave and it touches the counter in the slightest, it scrapes it off. Major bummer. We’re on the lookout for a matching brown Sharpie!

Wonderful bar stools. Ordered two gray. Received two brown. Carton stated color gray but surprise. They were brown. My son put them together and the brown looks ok. But mama wanted gray. Oh well.

Wow that was fast, it showed at my door before it showed on my credit card bill !! Great looking, finish is ok, but conscidering the price its fine. A few minor scratch but its fine. I recommend the buyer and product!

It seems a little too easily scratched up. The “wooden” colour is fading after only 3 months or so.
