I've chosen to install these in my hobby room, running along the edge of the ceiling. With 10 metres of lights in this box it was the perfect size to fill a medium sized room.The light strips are stuck to the ceiling with the sticky strips on the back. These have a very strong grip, so stick the lights almost instantly. Once laid in place, the power lead and control box are connected to the mains - and job done! I like the way that the control box is positioned half way between the 2 rolls of lights, making it easier to work out a centre point, and then able to lay lights in both directions.The remote control gives total control over the device, colour, brightness, patterns etc. They even dance to music!These lights are really bright and have an incredible range of colours too. With them positioned along the edge of the ceiling, or under a shelf, they create a light wash right down the wall. It's an amazing effect that feels incredibly expensive... yet this kit is amazing value!I highly recommend this product!

This was the first set I’ve put in my hallway, and I am going to get more. Look how bright they are! I have been nagging my son to put them up a few days, what I didn’t realise was how easy they are to instal and I ended up doing them myself. The strips are on a plastic reel, and the backing just peels off and exposes a sticky back. I just stuck them round the sides off my woodwork and that was all I needed to do. The little controller has a switch on it which makes the lights easy to operate, in addition there is a remote where you can change the colours etc without even bending down. I am enjoying these lights already.

Bought two sets of these for my kids for Christmas. Wish I hadn’t. In summary,1. The adhesive isn’t good enough to keep them on a wall, even a freshly painted, clean and dry surface. They started peeling off after two days and whatever I did to prevent this has not worked.2. The remote control doesn’t work properly. The on/off button changes the colour of the lights instead of turning them on or off. No other button turn the lights on or off, you have to control them by the socket.3. The app doesn’t work either. Again the on/off button doesn’t work and you can’t upload any music to it to take advantage of the dance feature.4. The minuscule amount of instructions have been very badly translated from (probably) Chinese. Useless.5. Customer service is woeful. The only contact is by email and they take days to get back to you. When they do, they want video evidence of the issues, which you can’t send because their mailbox rejects emails that have attachments!All in all one of the worse buys I have ever made.

Good find to brighten or highlight a dark corner or area of the home. You get x two 5m led light strips. Follow instructions easy to sync with your phone . I believe you can download the app. I have an iPad and was able to download the App (no charge) from the Apple. Store which was great. You can change the lighting to suit your mood and decor.

Fitted these in my teenage daughters room. She loves them and changing the settings is easy with either the supplied remote or the app on your phone.Would have given it 5 stars, but for 2 minor design issues, which the manufacturer could easily take on board as opportunities to improve the product, which are :-1. The mains lead is too short. Most people will want to fit these lights where my daughter has them, at the top of the wall where it meets the ceiling. However the cable is not long enough to reach. This was resolved by buying an 2 meter extension lead. Would recommend the manufacturer lengthens the mains lead to resolve this.2. It's supplied as 2 x 5 meter lengths which are joined together. The flying leads at the end, where you join the sections together, leave a gap of approx. 100mm, see photo. This gap in the lights is unsightly. Appreciate that there will be a gap where the lengths are joined, but if they could reduce the length of the flying leads, it would result in a smaller gap.

Firstly they arrived very quickly and in perfect condition. There were no installation instructions. It is pretty much self explanatory but you need to look at the connectors closely. There is a tiny arrow which you need to line up correctly. Not realising this, at first, I connected the wrong way round and they didn't work. I wasn't convinced that the sticky backing would be sufficient to keep the lights securely in place and unfortunately it isn't. So will need to look for a more permanent solution for this. I found some nail-in cable clips which have worked in securing the strips. But the lights work brilliantly. The various settings can be controlled with the remote control and an app which you can download to your phone (simple, mainly visual ,instructions included). My daughter loves them.
