Don’t feed fruit flies!
This was perfect for our praying mantis—as long as we weren’t feeding him fruit flies. The holes are big enough that they can get right out. Make sure that what your putting in it (and it’s prey) are larger than approximately the diameter of a lollipop stick. That is about the size of the holes. Otherwise it is perfect. The lid stays firmly in place with the magnet. The acrylic makes for a nice clear view of your critter. 😁

This is comparable or better to other name brand enclosures I own
I ordered some of these because the vendor I usually order my enclosures from was back logged with orders. I keep tarantulas and true spiders so I have used a few different brands of similar style enclosures. This one is comparable to Herpcult and dare I say, a little better looking. I had a friend who is really big into the hobby over my house, checking out my collection. He pointed out how these enclosures were sharp looking and asked where I got them. Would definitely order again.

Beautiful but a gap on the top.
The media could not be loaded. The size is great and the magnets are strong. My only issue is that the lid has a gap in it when it’s closed. See video.

Perfect for my mantids!
I use these for my orchid, spiny flower, and ghost mantids and its perfect, easy to open to feed them and looks good

Not suitable for inverts
This product looks nice and appeared to be alright but upon setting this up as an enclosure for arboreal tarantula species I noticed there is a gap at the top with the lid fully locked into place.The gap is not big enough for a fully grown adult tarantula to slip through but it is big enough for slings and juveniles and prey items to escape.I bought 3 of them and did not realize this until after rehousing 3 poecilotheria species. Now I’m stuck with them for a while with weights on the top to hold the lids down.

Great for tarantulas
I love it! I have my Caribena Versicolor in it as it outgrew the other enclosure. I think my C. Versicolor loves it too.
