Sat down and watched a youtube step by step tutorial (of which there are many) and did this in about an hour. the screwdrivers that came with the product fit great on the screw heads, in my opinion theyre the perfect size as you do not want to over torque the tiny screws of your phone! Make sure you do this repair on a clear desk so you don't lose any screws.The two microphones in this assembly don't come with the plastic/rubber plug on them, you will need to peel these off the original charge port assembly and put them on the new one. This isn't really a problem just letting you know, the youtube how-to I watched didn't include this step, perhaps other ones do :)after assembly all now works great! couldn't believe the value for money!

Do not attempt to replace one of these unless you are very comfortable with deconstructing and reconstructing an iPhone. You need to be able to strip down a lot of it to replace this.That said, this is perfect replacement for the iphone we had and works exceptionally well.I'm fairly competent and this took about 20 minutes to replace. Would buy again if needed to.

Neat little repair after my 6s charger port stopped working. Took around 1 hour to dismantle, install and put back together. Seems well made and is working thus far. 4 stars as usually these kits come with a little plucker and a suction cup but this one didn’t so had to improvise to remove screen. Screwdrivers were handy. Would definitely have a set of tweezers handy as all screws are absolutely tiny.

This part fitted perfectly, no issues with part at all. This part is colour coded to case so be sure to order correct part.Take your time and be careful and repair will be good. If the phone is around 2 years or older then replace the battery when you are in there.

Fitted it on a Sunday, initial testing looked good, 24 hours later microphone was all muffly and distorted like you're speaking with a mouthful of sock or some other garment/material.Might a one off but its not worth the hassle and another 7 quid (with postage) to find out and I'm not taking it apart again to just return it as faulty.
