Spine Stretching Lumbar Support - Two in One Back & Lumbar Stretcher (Red)

Gift for friends since i also own my own- each time they visited they would use it so i gifted them the lumbar stretch - ideal for every morning day use or before bed

I try and use this to stretch my back every day. It is sturdy and comfortable. I am a senior citizen and I hope by using this I will be able to fight the natural tendency of elderly people to stoop and give in to bad posture as they age.

Don't use it much. Hard hard hard. Had to put triple folded towel on it so it wouldn't hurt my spine, then again, I am 62 years old. I have always draped myself backwards over an exercise ball. I think I may have to stick to that but for younger people I'm sure this would be an amazing little tool. Just take it slow.

I was hopeful this would help alleviate my lower back pain, but it hurt so much to lay on it, I couldn't stand it for even a full minute, and was in even greater pain the next day. I've tried the same basic idea, using a long pillow, and am having much better results with the pillow (more give, less pain), so this will be going back!

I'm really glad that I spent more to get a back stretcher that is made of nice material and looks good sitting out. The maple plywood is nice, yet unfinished, so I think I will give it a very light sanding and then apply a beeswax linseed oil finish to protect it and enhance the wood. This stretcher is very sturdy and the yoga mat material layer provides enough padding for me. I find that if I follow the instructions to begin the stretches at the lumbar and then move my way up the spine, I feel the most benefit. I take deep breaths and try to relax to let my body's weight do the stretch work. Have even added weight by holding a 10lb kettle bell. It's really helped my back issues, which are related to doing a lot of yard work involving bending, squatting, heavy lifting, shoveling, and chopping.

Very, very durable. Why can't everything be of this quality? Works as good as the cheap plastic versions.
