I use these on a number of my high powered rifles and have never had an issue.

I love these mounts. I have them on every rifle that I own. Think about, usually you will have a base screwed down to the receiver and then rings down to the base scope and finally top rings torqued down. This all made into one piece. Less parts to break loose. Less parts to malfunction. Just makes sense.

Although I ended up with the 1 inch model, I found this an excellent mount. The base needed NO bedding. And the rings required no lapping. I mounted it on my 700 and it fit perfect and as advertised. Excellent very clean design. The less fasteners (screws) used the less that can come loose. For those who read that it is confusing to order, when the "(30 mm)" is in the title, it is for 30 mm scopes. No dimension listed, it is for 1 inch scopes. Now if they would list all the short medium and tall versions for an individual rifle together, that would make ordering a lot easier. (for example, the Remington short action Low mount was on one page and I had to go through 4 or 5 pages to find the Medium mounts, and another few pages to find the Tall mounts for the 700. In between were mounts for other brand rifles.) This is an Amazon thing, and doesn't not affect quality of this product.

This is the latest of four or five of these I've installed on various rifles. I have them on Rem 700 short action, Winchester 80 long action, and have both 1" and 30mm models. Not a single issue with any of them.

all aluminum mount , have one on 300 wby mag and one on 6.5 PRC ... no issues at all
