Affordable/practical yet versatile headset with a boom mic
This headset is very affordable yet practical. I solely used this for video conferencing and for occasional music listening. For the conference calls, its small form factor shines and sound quality (both listening and voicing) is above par (very subjective observation). Sound isolation is very good (not noise cancellation) - this might be positive, but negative as well.Pros:1. Small form factor and light. I've been using Sennheiser SC 60 (awesome headset - the best) for work and felt its feather-like weight all of sudden after several hour-long calls. Nismo Jr. is so light you barely felt its weight - unfortunately, you will feel these are in your ears since these are earbuds. For long hours, I didn't feel much fatigue as I had with SC 60.2. Sound Quality: it would be above par. If I compare this with SC 60, I will give my vote to SC 60 100%. Nismo Jr. is about $10 cheaper than SC 60 now. At this price range, I would say it is well worth to own Nismo Jr. At the volume set at 2 (I think this would be the lowest set in my Dell laptop), I could hear the group discussions loud and clear. For mic sound quality, I would say it is clear enough so that others are not complaining at all. No boost nor noise cancellation. Just uni-directional boom mic picking up your voice.3. Control: it has the control button - volume control, mute, and call receiving/cancelling. I will give this as par - at least it has a control button. Will explain further in Cons.4. Versatility: its connection is 3.5mm TRRS, which can be connected to the most of newer laptops, mobile phones, tablet, and PS4. You can use this headset not only for works, but also for your leisure. My SC 60 is for work only (sigh)...Cons (Not deal breakers, but things you should consider):1. Short cable length: I think it has a about 3-feet long cable. After that, there is a control button and left/right earbud splits. Due to the short cable length, your computer needs to be very close to your position if you want to use this for conference calls. At least, my desk is set up with height/position adjustable laptop tray and this short cable became no issue. If you walk around while talking, you might need an extension cable (3.5mm TRRS male/female). Comparing this with SC 60, SC 60 has about 9 feet cable (I think).2. Short boom mic: the boom mic length is about 3-inch long. For me, its uni-directional mic would be barely reached up to the edge of my lips. If it is one inch longer, it would be perfect. Fortunately, the current length will do the job without any issue.3. Awkward Controller: Nisom Jr has a controller and it works okay - able to turn down volume, mute and receiving/ending calls. However, it is located at the end of cable adjacent to earbud split, which means this is located under your chin while you are using. I understand the design aspect since this controller could be used as a mic if you are not using a boom mic. However, it is very awkward and challenging to control, especially mute switche (need to slide by using your finger nail). I don't think I could overcome this challenge anytime soon...4. In Ear Sound Isolation: while listening any music, in ear sound isolation is great. Unfortunately, this is very awkward feeling when you try to speak and listen simultaneously. Nismo Jr does not pass my voice sound through the earbuds. Hence, I can't clearly her what I am saying during the conference call - very difficult to describe this strange feeling, but feels like you are talking while you are in sound proof chamber (your voice could be heard, but its sound is very muffed). To avoid this feeling, I loosely wear the right earbud when I speak so that there would be some opening to hear my voice. I don't know how singers could sing while they are listening the music via earpiece. Well, they are professionals....Overall:Since I already have SC 60, ADV Nismo Jr is a great addition. It has pros and cons (cons are not deal breakers), but I like what this could do. If anyone look for very compact/light/affordable headsets, this would be a good contender for the remote working/learning. Sometimes, you can use this to play games and listen your favorite music too. Highly recommended!!!Possible upgrade option: I am looking for the budget USB sound card with volume control and mute button. In this setting, it would give extra cable length, and there is no need to struggle with the awkward controller.

Highly Exceeded Expectations
I really wanted a pair of earbuds that would be up to par with the sound quality as my over-ear headphones and these are amazing in that spectrum. I have small ear middles so most earbuds don’t fit in my ears, but these fit comfortably! not too big so no risk of falling out, and certainly not too small. The sound quality is awesome. I use these for gaming and they really pick up the bass and surround sound. I don’t have a use for the boom mic so I can’t comment on the quality of those. My one and only critique/issue is the convenience of the volume control. it’s a little finicky since the whole thing is made out of rubber, so you have to use your nail to get the grip to push it up and down. Also, it seems like I can never get a precise volume. It seems to always be a tiny bit too loud, or a tiny bit too quiet. This issue would probably be fixed if the volume slider was replaced with a smooth plastic rather than rubber material so it has easier use. Even then it’s a minute factor when compared to the quality of everything else. I was worried about getting earbuds for gaming because they are notorious for bad sound quality, but these are the real deal!

Amazing Sound Quality
So I decided to replace my big ear covering headset with this small gaming ear buds because I was curious if ear buds could compete with ordinary gaming headset. I have to say that the sound quality for these headphones is amazing. While playing games, I notice that I can distinguish players location base on sound and that is impressive to me. Plus the sound that comes out is super clear and these headphones can deliver heavy bass if you are into that. The only con with these headphone is that if you are using the detachable mic, I notice that the mic will pic up the sound coming into the headphones. Now this is a common issue if you use gaming earbuds, and the only solution for right now is to turn down the volume coming into the headphones. Besides that, I can recommend these gaming earbuds especially for the price they are going for.

Solid, Versatile, Light, and Portable Gaming and Music Option!
A very solid purpose built pair of earphones. Good for both music and games. Portable, cool in hot weather, light and functional. Has a boom mic that is detachable, a mic on the cable that has a volume slider for analogue control. Fit is good. May take some getting used to in the ears esp. with the weight of the boom in. So, maybe a little soreness after some period in the beginning till your ears acclimate. not a deal breaker. Good for hot days/areas wear over ear gamers would make you sweat. of course good for gaming on the go.Isolation is slightly above average. you can always find aftermarket tips to improve this more if you want. Accessories include the boom mic with cover, tips , and zip case which is a nice one of a useful size.Mic and volume control work well. boom mic performs very well. The sound is well tuned as ADV is apt to do. Good for both music and gaming. The main draw is the attempt at better spatial positioning which is done well and enjoyable for music as well as helpful in gaming. Solid detail and separation in addition to the good spatial cues gets the job done for gaming and those who like stage and space in their music. For $30 you get more than your money's worth and a good experience. Only improvement might be improved tips/bigger selection of tips but since the cost is low you can add ones you like without complaint.

Attachable mic does not work
The mic boom worked for 1 hours then stopped completely. Even when it was "working" the sound it was really low other people could barely hear me. The inline mic sound quality was very noisy. Please replace my mic attachment perhaps I have a faulty one.

Performs horribly..... Don't buy. There are cheaper better no-name brands....
The sound on these are ..... horrible. I regret this purchase.Bought these because of they are earbuds with an actual boom mic.I don't know the terminology but I have cheaper cordless refurbished earbuds that perform better.Hearing someone speak is "scratchy / screechy".I am not getting noise but I really couldn't understand anyone talking on it.I "try and buy" a lot and with a cheap product, I know it's a risk. When you consider the reviews compared to the actual product performance, something is amiss here.
