I like them. Well made, so far only couple hundred rounds, don't see any potential problems. Work well. Not much trouble to assemble at all assuming you have basic tools available. You would also need to make a stand.

These are really nice and I will likely buy more. They are extremely durable and a lot of fun. I would recommend buying a minimum of 3 sets. Anything else and it isn't as much fun if you are actually dueling with another person.The only problem was it is a tight fit on a 2x4. I had to plane down the 2x4 about 2/32" of an inch to get it to slide on easily. Since the 2x4 takes a lot of shrapnel so if it was still really tight fitting, I don't know if I would be able to remove them to replace the wood without cutting the 2x4 and hammering it out..

If you compare the prices for this type of paddle target, this is by far the cheapest route. It was very easy to assemble with a 2x4. Like many of these type targets sold on amazon, this is not AR500 grade, though it may have been prior to being reheated during Theo unfavorable plasma cutting process, which degrades the strength. The center bracket is a much weaker steel (not meant to be shot) but could stand to be harder for more durability. Will post pictures of my claims soon.

Easy to assemble, break down, setup. Very solid and stable. Works well for 9mm, 5.56 and .308 Win. Makes for a fun and challenging shooting experience.

INTELLIGENT TARGET SYSTEMS uses these targets in our Failure Drill Plate Rack. We engage them at < 3 meters with 5.56 mm NATO and .45 ACP frangible rounds. The surface of the targets remain pristine. Very good welds and powder-coating. Highly recommended by us with a history of use.

This is a very sturdy set. I bought four pairs so I could have eight paddles total. I built a wooden stand for them, and luckily had the forethought to add some steel to the lower diagonal braces where the bottom paddle is close; otherwise those wood braces would have been gone. One word of advice is to either not use treated lumber if it's still wet at all, or if you do then sand down one side and all corners. The treated lumber swells while still wet/damp and doesn't ever completely return to the same size as it's untreated counterparts. I only did the sanding after spending half an hour hammering the first brace all the way down from top to bottom. After sufficient sanding they all went on smoothly. The tree works great for anything 9mm or over. Won't work for 22 longs or anything similar. The paddles and guards do stand up to .40, .357 Sig, Colt 45, .357 Magnum, etc. but I would not use it for any substantial rifles.

While I like these I completely almost destroyed one of the two due to QA of the metal rectangle being way off. Had a single 2x4 that I cut in half premium pressure treated wood. One slipped right over the 2x4 np, the other was incorrectly welded and was significantly under sized. I beat the heck out of it with a block and a sledge hammer to barely get it on far enough to mount, black mount from this of course bent and the dueling swing functionality was broken. Just sucks bc these are so fun to shoot. Wish they were consistent QA. Otherwise would have recommended but it was a true pain for the $

A fun reasonably priced reactive steel target set. Dueling paddles do what they are supposed to do when you hit them. I did have a problem with one of the parts initially, but fast courteous customer service fixed the problem in record time. I'll be buying more Highwild targets, get yourself some and have some fun!
