Caledonian Kitchen, Traditional Scottish Meat Pies (Pack of 24)

Just like in Scotland! I just needed vinegar and chips to go with them.

It is very close to how my grandmother used to make these. I have been looking for a long time to find these. Finally! Some might say they’re too dry but, don’t we Scots have a dry sense of humor?

Kind of flavorless. Ate two and trashed the rest.

I purchased this product because I love a good meat pie! This is NOT a good meat pie! This is a horror of a meat pie. The crust lures you in with a nice crunch, followed by a filling that is grossly, fatty, and nauseating! There are little pea size globules of fat that will roll around in your mouth that are slimy, and nasty! The taste is not a good one and will remind you of a long rotted meat meant to be thrown out! I lay a box out for a family of fox that I have on my property and all they did was urinate on them! They wisely did not eat them or even touch them! As I wish I had not purchased them. If this is a "Traditional" meat pie, then I feel sorry for those who ate them, and for the cook who made them. I strongly recommend you do not try these pies, they are horrendous in flavor, and in texture! AVOID THESE!!! I would rather eat a military MRE then these things.... GROSS!!

My wife is from Glasgow, Scotland. She is enjoying these one by one. They were packaged and shipped with care. We will definitely buy again!

Dinner with beans and HP sauce.
