it is quite heavy resting on your shoulders so if anywhere is tender where you would require the heat be warned it is heavy

This heat pad does what it's supposed to do. It sits comfortably on your shoulders and gets warm in the microwave, as you'd expect.A few problems though are a) its too expensive for what it is, b) its VERY heavy, I am concerned this will worsen my neck pain rather than alleviate it (though maybe it'll strengthen muscles which could be a good thing - who knows?) and c) it takes about 5 mins to heat up in my microwave and doesnt stay hot all that long, so probably quite expensive.If I had my day again I probably wouldnt buy, though I can't see very many better options on the market, it's a tough one

I was very surprised by the weight of heat pad but it snuggles nicely around a painful cervical area

Bought this for my boyfriend for Christmas and am pretty happy with my choice! The fabric is soft and it has a good weight to it. The heating instructions are pretty specific compared to other microwave packs I’ve owned (1m30s intervals only), and I find it doesn’t get as hot as we personally would like sometimes in the 4 minutes ‘max’ heating time recommended (but that could well be bc of our microwave). The seams down the back are a great addition to ensure the heated bits inside stay evenly distributed rather than falling to the bottom - I just wish these seams were also on the collar as it doesn’t really stand up by itself.TLDR: it’s a good heat pack and I would likely buy from this brand again in the future!

Got it specifically because it says it was 'unscented'. It does have a scent.

I bought this product because of a painful neck and shoulder. The heat helps with pain relief and it is comfortable to wear although it is heavy. Unfortunately it doesn't retain its heat for long so that's why I have deducted one star.

If you purchase this item, please make sure you have a large microwave oven, as this was brought as a gift for Xmas. The person who is elderly, used the huggaroo at the weekend, and could not get it in the microwave. She needed help, eventually they managed it. The item is also quite heavy.She was on the verge of sending back!!! I think sadly it has put her off using again !!

It needs rewarming quite a lot. For someone who doesn't like weighty things on them, its not for you as it is quite heavy. But my daughter found it comfortable
