I’ve purchased in the past and wasn’t this dry

I was looking forward to having a slice of this beautifully wrapped panettone studded with Amarena cherries as a light dinner. I was so disappointed when I took a bite. The panettone was very dry and very stale. The cherries had turned dark and had lost their flavor. I’ve eaten this panettone in Italy and it was delicious. I’m really disappointed.

A product I am very familiar with and have enjoyed for years but this one was very dry…stale-like. May not want to order fromAmazon again. Others were purchased locally and very soft, fluffy and tasted great.

Delicious but expensive.In Italy the price is not so high

It was a lovely panettone to serve to guests at breakfast.

This panettone was much better than I expected, given the mixed reviews. It has very soft and fresh tasting. It had the traditional panettone texture. The flavor is cherry, which is different from the usual candied citron and nuts, but it was the only reasonably priced option there was when I got around to buying it. But my family really enjoyed the cherry flavor. I made a sweet cream sauce for it and put some natural canned cherries (not candied ones) on top as well. I would buy this one again, we enjoyed it very much. It wasn't gigantic, but it was big enough, given that we had other desserts with it after a big meal. It was just the right size for us.
