I’ve ordered 3 of these so far. They last about 1 year before the draw string disintegrates and then you can’t tighten it. The canvas itself holds up well and is very large. Covers my Merc Pro XS 250 with plenty of room to spare. So much extra room that when the drawstring fails the cover becomes useless because it will blow off.

I received the request to review the product from Supply Tiger, before I received my engine covers. Been 4 days... Amazon Prime is slipping.I ordered my first set 2.5 years ago (250 EFI Mercs.) and that is about how long they last in the FL sun. The draw strings need to be replaced after a couple months, as the UV eats them quickly. So, I'd replace them with 550 cord before they rot so you can use the in place OEM cords to pull the new 550 cord through.Both my covers have rips, but for the money they are unfortunately semi- disposable.2 stars because (-1) the draw sting is not functional after a short amount of time. (-1) they only last 2-3 years. (-1) For them sending me a survey before I received the late product.

its so BIG that this motor cover could easily fit a yoga ball in!!! . I needed a big cover because I have a very old (1960 something) 65 hp evinrude and that puppy takes up a lot of space!!! this cover covered it with room to spare!!! I couldn't believe it. I love this engine cover.cons: there is a con to this cover although the picture shows a very nice and tight drawstring on the bottom mine will not draw tight. the drawstring is very hard to use and I am convinced their is no way to make it tight. so what I have done is just used bungee cords around the bottom of my motor to make it tight.

Fits my 2 stroke merc 150 very well. looks like it could cover a larger motor mabey 250 2 stroke. I would get a smaller cover if you are running under 150hp. I have the drawstrings fully cinched. Keeps the sun of my motor and looks good in the driveway.

The cover itself it pretty good. The draw cord to tighten the bottom around the motor shaft is lousy. It was rotten and broke within a few months. It should be nylon or some other material that would last at least a year, or more..

The cover is quite large for a 120hp motor - measurements would have helped.That said the polyester seems to cope with Sea air but the tie cord rotted away very quickly.I modified the cover with a couple of eyelets and used a padlock to draw the bottom together.Happy now!

Bought this to protect upper half of my Suzuki 140 4-stroke and it does exactly that. Plenty of space for larger engines, yet sinches snug on my 140. Not planning on keeping it covered while pulling the trailer, just while it is parked in my driveway, protecting from the Florida sun.

The product was very much too large for the four stroke engine that I bought it for. In addition, the drawstring would not cooperate at all in the tightening process, so there was no way that I could depend on the product resisting wind. I think that I sent a review like this before and received instructions on return, but I am at a loss to find the communication. Could you please advise me how to return this product? Thank you.
