The professional who cleans my windows recommended this 3M Glass Cleaner and Protector, and I have used one bottle. It is quite good.It doesn't evaporate as quickly as alcohol based cleaners, so the user has more time to get the window clean. Furthermore, it has Scotchgard in it, and that creates an invisible surface that is easier to clean next time.I use this on windows in my house. Also for car windows. I especially like it for the inside of the windshield, which is always a bear to get clean.I have some 100% lint-free cotton towels--I think they call them flour-sack towels--that I got from Amazon. I use two of them to clean windows, one to wipe the window the first time, and the second to polish it. Works like a charm.For the inside of car windshields, I apply the 3M cleaner to one of the towels and wash the windshield. Then I use one or two dry towels to wipe and polish the windshield.Because the inside of windshields are sometime greasy from the gases that evaporate from the plastic parts of the car, it sometimes takes two washes to get the inside of the windshield clean. But at least it gets it clean.I also sometimes use Ettore window cleaner applied with an Ettore applicator for the inside of windshields. That's messy when cleaning the inside of a windshield, but it works--maybe even better than this 3M product if you can deal with the mess.
