I like that you can direct the sprayer in whatever direction you need and that on the low setting can run up to 12 hours. I run mine a couple feet away from my bed every night in the winter. In the morning I empty it and wipe it off and let it air dry until I use it the next evening again. Just bought a new furnace but the company said with a 1200 square foot home I would be better off just running a couple humidifiers of my own rather then adding one to our furnace

It's good quality and very quiet. Easy to fill and use. I'm not crazy about the mist coming out the spout. My carpet got damp so I had to set it up higher - at least 4 feet.

So there are some bad reviews on here. I want to say that that I may have a quick solution to some of the problems why it may stop working. When you pick up the tank, there is a plastic part and near the plastic part it says "DO NOT LET WATER INTO THE FAN".... So I am thinking that some of the buyers are getting water into the fan. I did it and it just would not work. It would turn on but not work and no output. What I did was grab my hair dryer and blew it into this plastic part that says no water. I kept the air dryer on, blowing down into this plastic part, and dried it up. I plugged it back in and it worked perfectly. So don't worry to much.Now.... there is a "beep beep beep" when the sensor does not sense any more water. It is annoying but over all it isn't that bad. I think this product is better than some of the reviews say. I say try it!!!

There are many detriments to the dry heat of winter. This humidifier is a quiet warrior in the battle. I contracted a stubborn cold and needed moisture in the bedroom. This has a small footprint on the bedside chest, is silent, easy to fill. I like that I can choose the direction of steam. There are 3 choices for the level of steam. The tank lasts a day on high. I could not be happier. This replaces my heavy gallon Holmes that is noisy, heavy to refill and requires a filter.

It worked great for a few months and then after that it just quit. I took care of it, cleaning it all the time, which was easy to do. Wish it would've at least lasted through the winter.

Last night makes the 3rd time I have used the humidifier. Overall it gets the job done for me. The mist is not heavy, not even on the highest level. But I have been running on medium, and it does just fine. The only reason I gave this 4 stars and not 5 stars, is because it sound 1 loud BEEP when the water gets low. When I read the description, no where did it say it beeps when the water gets low and auto shuts off. I read through the instructions, and I don't see where it say it makes a beeping noise. Instructions say "Once tank is empty, the Indicator Light will illuminate in RED...", no where does it mention a "beep". The first time it didn't wake me, but these last two times the beep woke me. The first time it woke me, it scared me because I didn't know what was going on. Trying to decide if the beep is enough for me to send back. I don't like be woken from sleep before my work alarm for no reason.Update: I sent it back. The beep woke me around 6:45a on a Saturday. Not good, especially since I couldn't fall back to sleep.

I purchased this for a relative whose apartment had very dry air. It has worked well for many months, making the apartment much more comfortable at night.
