Carter Enterprises Target 4 - Finger Release

Far better than I expected
I only used a wrist release a couple of times, but they were uncomfortable. Being new to bow shooting, this is quite an expensive release to buy, but compared to the wrist strap release, this was so much better. It took a couple of tries to figure it out.. I was worried it was broken when I first got it. I just had to learn how to put the jaw around the string then close it shut correctly. You basically have jaw open, lock the trigger, put jaw around string, close jaw with finger, it's locked! The thumb release is really easy to use. I am pulling on 52lbs or so and it's easy to pull back with the four fingers balancing the release. The only thing to be careful of is dry firing with this.. it's VERY easy to touch the thumb trigger and have it release, especially when pulled back. So as many say, don't pull back the bow without an arrow with this release! You may end up with a busted bow!

DIFERENT COLOR !!!!
I am not satisfy with the product because when I decide to purchase this Carter Release I did it because the color you offer in Internet Amazon is RED!!! I bought this Carter Release for the color RED and Bowhunters send me a Carter Target 4 color BLACK !!!! I think you have to send the same color that you offer and not the color you want. We are paying for the product you offer. I paid for a Carter Release Target 4 Color RED !!! i am not happy with this situation. I live in Costa Rica, Central America and for me is very expensive returns the Carter Release to Bowhunters, because the Carrier charge me around US$100.00. On the other hand, the Carter Target 4 Release is an excelent Release.

Decent depending on usage
Good release for target shooting, useless for hunting. Way to loud of a click when released
