Q: Where are these boots made?

Like all things " Made in China"

Q: Do these boots work well for skiing and hiking in very cold temperatures? I plan to do both in Colorado this December

I live im colorado, I bought this boots just to shovel the snow on the driveway and returned them 1 minute later. They are not comfortable at all, not even for 5 minutes shovelling, so dont even think about hiking. It may be a horrible experience.

Q: How far of a hike in the snow or rain would you feel comfortable walking in these for 1 mile, 2 mile or are these more for short distances?

These are good for several miles, and are quite waterproof, warm and relatively light weight.

Q: What is the width at it's widest point on the bottom of the sole.

4.75 inches at the widest in the size 14 boots I received. This was somewhat too tight (wearing any socks) in my midfoot and I returned the boots.
