Well Made Tool
It’s German made for a German car. It’s hefty and feels like thought was put into its manufacture. I can definitely see the difference between this and the Asian knockoff.I’ll probably never need it again, it it did it’s job well. Why Volkswagen needed a T52 bit when a 50 or 55 would have worked…?

Head Bolt Socket
Great tool. A must have for the head bolts on VW/Audi. Good price.

Meh, depending on what you're using it for.
If you're using the short version of this for the poly bolt on the back end of your exhaust cam (Audi, VW) to remove the sprocket while doing a cam chain and tensioner job... DON'T. It cannot get a deep enough bite into the head of that bolt, does not seat squarely, has significant play and rocks inside the bolt head. 90% of the time people strip that bolt, and have a nightmare of a time dealing with it.Just looking inside of the bolt heads this is for, the very end of this tool, and the experience so many have had using it for Audi/VW cam chain/tensioner jobs you can see why this is a poor design for this type of tool in general. Why are the edges/corners inside the bolt heads and on the tips of the tool tapered as opposed to squared?? That's just asking for a slip and stripping of a bolt head.

Five Stars
Old head bolts are triple square on 98 Beetle 2.0. When you get new head bolts they will be this No. 10 Polydrive
