I was very happy to see this on Amazon and didsn't hesitate to order, these small red beans are rare as hen's teeth!Just can't find 'em anymore, they must've phased them out in favor of a more expensive crop! I use these in all my chili recipes, can't stand kidney beans, too mealy!! Anyway, delighted to have a 12-pack! Thank you!

True pinquinto beans come from Santa Maria Ca. These beans were usually the accompanying bean at a Santa Maria BBQ, made famous in that town in California . Previously unheard of ‘tri-tip’ was the meat of choice always cooked over oak. Today, it is widely knownMoving to Washington, we can only get these on line or when company comes to visit.To doctor them up (personalized) I add a combo of small pieces of cooked bacon, sautéed yellow onion, ground beef and the secret ingredient, beer. Cook them on simmer. The amounts of ingredients depends on the number of cans you cook.

Pinquito Beans are so hard to find and so delicious!! I think this is the only brand that sells them in the can. These are my 3 year old's favorite beans. The sauce is perfect to just heat and eat. We eat these as a side dish, on tacos or in enchiladas & burritos. I'm so glad they are finally on Amazon!

Haven’t been able to find these in stores. . Was thrilled when I saw them on Amazon. They sent out a case and during the shipping process so many cans were dented and several lids came open. Reached out to the seller and they were extremely helpful. Took care of the problem and then some. These beans are great for making Chili. Will purchase again!

S&W puts out the best canned beans and these fabulous pinquitos are a real treat. Nobody but S&W has these and if you love Santa Maria BBQ, then get these and follow the recipe on the label.

These are the classic pinquitos of Santa Maria Barbecue in a can! Any California outdoors meal would be enhanced immeasurably by using these as a primary side dish. I can use them with tri-tip of course but these delicious beans go with anything. So glad I found them!

Ouch, these are well over $2 a can of beans with the bulk discount(beans!). But this really is the best S&W product ever and for someone who hates soaking his own beans, I am just glad they brought them back after discontinuing them.
