Love it, got it linked to the switch & use it as a bedside light, short press for nightlight, long press for reading.Bouncing the light is way nicer way of lighting a room & choosing colour transforms it.Great service, fast turnaround

Mood enhancing
On the whole, it gives a good splash of coloured light, but one needs more than one to get a full effect. On grey days, the orange and red tones are very welcomed. It is quite small but effective for its size.

COMES WITH EU 2 PIN PLUG
*Warning*These come with 2-pin EU plugs, no UK 3-pin is included.Call to Philips Hue customer support and first time they said there was nothing they could do and it was Amazon's issue to sort. Called back again straight after and another advisor offered to send out a UK plug with no hesitation.

Not too bad
This was a refurbished item from Amazon Warehouse. The box was a bit beaten up but the lamp is ok. It has an annoying design fault - the power cable passes through a notch in the front of the leg exiting between the leg and the disc of the lamp itself. If you don't take care positioning it the lamp disc will sit on the cable and wobble a bit. It would be more sensible to have had the notch at the back of the leg but I imagine that, as the lamp is intended to provide a colour wash to walls, it was an attempt to reduce the visibility of the cable.
