I don't see what's not to love about these. For the price these are the best value in leather search gloves around.One caveat: they are NOT NOT NOT puncture resistant. If you are a LEO/first responder/tactical unit these will protect the digits but they will NOT stop blades or needles. They will NOT repeat NOT stop needles or knives.That being said these are excellent search gloves. You need to use the sizing guide to get the correct size. Measure your hand with a seamstress tape to ensure proper fit. If you don't have this item or know what it is, go to a fabric store and tell the seamstress/tailor there that you need to be fitted for a tight fitting glove and have him/her measure across your knuckles with your hand in a loose fist to ensure you get the proper measurement. The seamstress/tailor should be able to assist you to proper success.The quality of these gloves is insane compared to the price. I can't confirm if they are genuine leather as I have no way to test this, but they are tough, soft, and durable in feel. I have been using these for only 2 weeks so I can't comment on durability but I assume they are real leather and the stitching is top notch so I assume they will last with proper care. They offer very little warmth given their unlined nature and thin leather so be aware of that. Some reviewers say they are thick and lessen dexterity but I have not experienced this. Damascus gloves (now Tough Gloves) are 3X the price and don't offer THAT much in the way of thinner leather/more dexterity but I wholeheartedly suggest you try for yourself. I own both and these Hatch models are very very good for the money IF you follow their sizing directions.Bottom line: get them. They are excellent for the money. If you find that they are too thick of leather you can always get the more expensive ones laterAnother caveat: give them time to break in if they are tight or uncomfortable. Mine are skin tight after following the sizing chart and never feel tight or constricting. Yours should feel tight at first with a fit that becomes part of you. Like a second skin but way tougher. AGAIN THESE WILL NOT PROTECT AGAINST PUNCTURES OR SLICES. Hatch and Tough Gloves both offer puncture resistant gloves that will protect your hands but these are regular leather. I got these to replace another pair (different maker) of unlined leather gloves, and was very pleased overall with the comfort and the sizing. I did give them a hot soak & dry to shrink them a tiny bit, but no big deal.As someone else has mentioned, the thumbs seem to be proportionally longer than the fingers, at least for me. Since I use my thumbs a lot even with gloves, I cut them back and re-stitched, removing around 1/3". I mention, in case it's a factor for someone else as well.

I really do like these gloves. I measure 8.5 inches around the hand, which is decently wide but I don't have hammy fingers. I went with mediums and they are perfectly snug. I intend to soak them and wear to fit them perfectly.For the price they're great, but just remember the price point reflects the quality:pros: price, comfy, fit me wellcons: sewer missed some stitching in one finger (my grandma or aunt can sew it up for me), also I realized the finger tips have more stitching that I'd like to see. Nevertheless I wanted a pair of thin, 2nd skin leather gloves for whatever purposes.The Mpact mediums fit my hand well too but the fingers are too long in those for me just by 5 mm or so. I like these way better than the hatch spectra lining (it's like a net of a swim suit against your hands instead of nice fuzzy leather). Other than the stitching I got exactly what I paid for

[Medium] I have had these for about 5 days now. These were a little tight for me as I thought they would be, noticing the left glove is harder to get on so I put that one on first. BUT I have been breaking them in well. I have been doing yardwork in these, as well as stretching them overnight (just jamming something tight in there (see time cigar case in pictures). The second day, I noticed that they were easier to out on. So far, they’re still a little tight but I get them in way more quickly. These thin leather gloves feel and smell alluring. I even enjoy a good cigar with them so my hands don’t get all stinky. The wife loves that ;P. I say these are true to size, measure hand around the knuckle and round up to next whole number. I rounded down myself because I have short, sausagey fingers, woof!

I ordered these for riding my motorcycle. My index finger, from my knuckle to finger tip is 3" which is a medium by most charts.They arrived in the mail and I tried them on. The left glove fit perfectly (a little loose even), the right glove however is very very tight and took me several days to get them worked in enough to be able to bend my knuckle.The quality seems pretty decent, the stitching on the inside can cause some irritation when I wear them on long rides and the right glove is still pretty tight. I'd order these a size larger than you normally would. Overall not terrible, they serve their purpose but I'd like it if the gloves were both the same size.

I have had many hatch products in the past, but by far these are my favorite pair as they are thin and tight fitting

I am normally a medium so I ordered a medium and they fit perfect. The gloves have a great shape to them. The leather is soft but strong and they are unlined. At my door in 2 days flat. overall a great product.
