The directions on how to use are wrong. Once I found the right directions on U Tube it worked perfectly. It says to have the hook on the bottom when threading and it needs to be on top. Otherwise it is a life saver because my automatic threader broke and I can't see to thread my machine without it.

Helps to thread km machine. Still hard to see the thread so I added another light. Instructions are too small to read for someone with poor eye sight so I looked it up on u tube.

So happy to have found this I can now change my machine needles in no time with ease !

At the point when you’re supposed to push the thread through the eye, it doesn’t push the thread through or it just pulls it back. Standard wire threader works better.

So glad I purchased this little blue wonder. It makes inserting a new needle in my sewing machine so easy. It holds the needle in place while I tighten the screw. My arthritic fingers appreciate it so much.

Could not get this to work consistently. Maybe I am doing something wrong and there is a trick to it, but I could only make it work about 10 percent of the times I tried using it.

I bought this after looking at several different products Dash most of which seemed overpriced. Also, this product looked better made than some others. Tried it out this evening, and was able to get it to work on my second try. It’s quite easy to use, but you have to be careful with it. It would be easy to bend the metal bar that shoves the thread through the eye of the needle. Using light pressure and feeling your way will work best as you move the device down the needle length. I honestly don’t see how they could make the bar any stronger given how thin it is it may not work for every size of needle, but it did work on Schmetz universal needles size 80/12. It works well enough to have earned a place in my sewing machine’s storage box (ie. The one that is part of the sewing platform.) That’s pretty high praise for a sewing tool.

Haven't tried the needle threader end yet, but the other end holds sewing machine needles while you insert them. This is essential for overlockers, as it's easy to drop them into the workings of the machine! Not so important for sewing machines.
