Not a bad case, but has some flaws
This case is pretty nice. It has a smooth leather finish, nice color scheme, and pretty ample protection for my $1000 surface pro. So on that aspect I’m pretty happy. BUT. There are some things that bug me. They are little things, mind you, but they are annoying. First being that the case blocks some of the ports of my surface pro. I have to take it off to access the USB for flash drives. The volume buttons are also blocked, and while you can still press them, they aren’t actually fitted to have them accessible. Secondly, you can tell that this case wasn’t made to accommodate the keyboard. Which is silly because who is going to use their surface pro without the keyboard? I mean really, typing on the virtual keyboard is just goofy. After a year or so of forcing it fit, now they keyboard fits, but it is very clear that it was not built that way. All in all its a nice case, and I like it now, but if I could go back, I probably wouldn’t buy it again because of the aforementioned things. Are they small problems? Yes. Are they annoying enough to make me hate the case? No, but I still would like to see a case that seems to be made for the surface pro and keyboard and has all the correct holes. As a longtime Amazon customer, I rely on reviews from the Amazon community when making buying decisions. My husband give me a surface pro 3 for Christmas - just what I wanted. I am extremely careful with all of my electronics and considering the cost of this investment I was anxious to get a nice case for it. I read literally hundreds of reviews... you have to take some with a grain of salt and really need to take others to heart - its hard to distinguish between the two. I was torn between the manvex and the ProCase for over.a month and considering the cost of each is neck and neck I finally just broke down and purchased the manvex for no other reason than it was pink. Since I have received it, I am thrilled - I had no idea how well it would cover, protect and still allow the surface 3 to be fully functional but I figured if it was a bust I would just order the other with a lesson learned - but this one is perfect... I am sitting on the couch with a three year old hanging off of me and my legs propped side ways and this case is giving me the perfect angle and protection. I have my USB jump drive hanging out the side as I type - I could not be happier. I read complaints about not being able to use it as a tablet and turning it backwards and this and that but that's really not an issue for me - popping the keyboard off in order to do this is not a deal breaker for me, but really I haven't even tried it so I don't know what happens.. this one does have pockets as well as the other I'm sure - I didn't really need that but I just caught myself sliding an extra sd card into it... so yeah - for normal people that wanna sit on the couch and still be able to handle business, sort photos, write reviews - this case is great... and I'm assuming the weird angles at which I use it has allowed air flow because its not running hot either - seriously folks - use responsibly haha have a great day!

No Instructions, No Use!
This case looks really nice, but just didn't work for me. First off, it didn't come with instructions to attach it. It seemed pretty straightforward, but perhaps the problems I ended up having could have been avoided if I had some guidance. Secondly, with the case on, my computer wouldn't automatically sleep when I closed the cover. With some time I could have gotten used to that, were it not for the next problem. The case made my computer too hot. There was no way for it to ventilate adequately through the leather case, which was the primary reason I decided not to use it anymore. Finally, I felt like the flap that holds the computer up was too unstable. Mine would slide back down flat a lot and never felt as sturdy as the flap the surface comes with. I thought maybe there was a way for me to insert the surface into the case so that the case and the surface flap could work in tandem, but I couldn't figure it out. I ultimately don't know if it was me or the case, but I do know that instructions would have helped me figure it out.

A very good case!
Updated Review: I bought this case for the Surface Pro 3. The color of the case was exactly like the picture. It has a snug fit and I like the idea of the pen loop. I love the way I can sit on my bed, or on the couch and use my Surface and keyboard. That part of the case works exceptionally well for me. Yes, the case closes seamlessly with the type cover still attached and then the closure just helps to keep everything secure. Initially the flap closure overhung the front facing camera, which I found to be extremely annoying. I sent an email to Cosmo Gadgets and they informed me about the magnet on the back of the case which keep s the closure securely out of the way. It took a few tries for it to catch properly, but yes it is out of the way. That annoyance is now gone. I felt the magnet in the flap closure could be stronger when keeping the case closed. According to Cosmo Gadgets, in the past when the magnet was stronger, it interfered with the devices working properly. Finally, my keyboard does not tilt with the case on. Cosmo Gadgets said the keyboard can still tilt; however, I think this must be if it is sitting on a hard surface. Sitting on my lap, the keyboard still does not tilt. Overall, I am very pleased with this case and would recommend it. One thing to keep in mind, this case does not protect the corners of your device. This is not a problem for me since I also purchased a sleeve for my device. Given the cost of these devices, you can't have enough protection.

schlechte Qualität, wirkt billig, fällt halber auseinander und ist unpraktisch. Das Surface man alleine ja schon sehr gut stehen, da brauch man so einen integrierten Ständer in der Schutzhülle nicht
