I purchase the dead soft 28g and 14g 925 sterling silver for wire wrap jewelry making. It’s perfect for my use and the product is good quality. My jewelry looks amazing and I continue to by from Craft wire.

IS Solid Round Dead Soft Sterling Silver Wire
I purchased 30ga Dead Soft Round Sterling Silver Wire. It’s exactly that and of good quality. I waited to review because at first thought it felt like the 28ga, but it is thinner. Both 28ga & 30ga are very thin. It was easy to work with and the price is right. For Wire Weaving it works very well. I used it on a very small Charoite Cabochon with 22ga SS Wire I also purchased on Amazon. I’ll buy it again!

Seems exactly like described.
Decent wire and easy to work with. I wish I could tell if it's actually 125 feet but without taking it off the reel and measuring it I'll just have to trust it's the right length. It kind of does look like very little wire but not 100% sure on the length. I want others to understand it's COPPER. Pure uncoated copper. It will turn your skin green because again it's COPPER. That is not the seller's fault but a very natural reaction. Those of us who make jewelry know this. So if you are making jewelry for the first time you will have to coat it yourself or spray on an enamel to prevent green skin. It will oxidize and tarnish pretty quickly as is NORMAL FOR COPPER. So keep that in mind before reviewing this product. I've noticed several people complaining about copper's normal reaction to skin and wanted to make sure others understood that it's not the fault of any seller just the natural state of copper itself.

Not Dead Soft, but Nice.
What I got was way too "lively"/springy to call dead soft. No big thing there, you anneal it and it will be. But if you were looking for wire that was soft right out of the package, you might find this a bit difficult to handle. I got the length and gauge I ordered, and the wire was smooth and bright. It makes nice projects and polishes up pretty. But if you're counting on making tight turns or coils, you'll need to anneal this to get it to be dead soft.

exactly as expected, easy to work with, nice and shiny
This review is for the 16 gauge round copper wire. Please note: this is pure copper wire. If you do not seal it with something, it very well might turn your skin green. That is what copper does (especially if it gets exposed to moisture, sweat, etc.). It also will tarnish if exposed to the air for long periods of time. Again, a property of copper. You can prevent this by storing in an enclosed container with anti-tarnish tabs, adding a patina, or sealing. Any copper would do this and it is not a defect of this item. The fact that it happens shows that you are getting real copper when you buy this!Anyway, I've bought a lot of copper wire lately but for some reason, I didn't have any 16 gauge in my collection (skipped from 14 to 18) so I purchased this. I am working from a lot of pattern and project books lately and I find it helpful to actually use what is suggested in the book, and sometimes 16 gauge is called for. This is soft and malleable, as it should be, but it hardens up as it is worked (and you can anneal it if you need to). It's only about 8 feet but that is sufficient to make several bracelets and pendants and similar items.I am not very good with wire yet but am finding this easy enough to work with. All my standard tools have been great (I try to use nylon jawed pliers when I can or else wrap a bit of masking tape around certain tools so as not to mar the finish). This shines up nicely. It is a bit thin for a bangle on its own (that's just my preference, anyway) but is good for wire wrapping and similar applications.Anyway, overall I'm pretty happy with this and would buy it again.

I know I'm being picky but I wanted length of wire instead...
Well... I'm happy for the most part. I only have a small complaint about the length of the wire. It says 2 feet but when completely laid out, it was only 1 foot 11 1/4 inches long. I was going to write an angry review but then I took it to the scale and it weighted 1.02 ounces. Since it reads as 1 ounce of copper with the length in brackets, I decided to cut them some slack. More appropriately, it should read appx. 2 feet of wire for those of us going for length instead of by weight.Overall, it does deliver what it promises; 1 ounce of 99.9% pure, 10 gauge, round, dead soft copper wire. It just isn't quite 2 feet in length so just remember that if you're a stickler for accuracy.

Wish I started this a long time ago.
Use this to make colloidal copper. Arthritis symptoms are gone and my circulatory system seems to be working better as I can make goals at the gym happen easier without being exhausted the next day.

Looks more like brass than bronze.
I guess I was expecting a more bronze color. Also, it is pretty hard to work with and does not seem dead soft to me. I don't have a torch to anneal it with, but I may consider one in the near future soI can sort that out then. But the color was what I didn't expect. Guess it needs to be patina'd somehow.
