The packaging is very pretty but the scent is so bad that I’m going to try and gift it. Maybe other people will like the scent but I do not like it. If you like dyptique just buy dyptique. Don’t try another brand. Stick to why you know.

I absolutely love this candle! Beautiful, classy packing make it a perfect gift. The scent is delicious and long lasting. Very classy candle that feels expensive without breaking the bank. Will definitely order again!

When I got this candle, I was excited to use it for a date night with my girlfriend who is vegan and therefore is wooed by soy / non-bee labor-using candles. Gentlemen, I’m here to tell you now, the sniff test is ESSENTIAL before any wooing should even be attempted.On first glance, the candle and its packaging are very fancy looking and seem to be a classy enough gift for an office secret santa, a birthday party for an acquaintance you barely know, or for Mothers Day when your mum says “don’t get me anything”! The temptation may be strong to buy a six pack of these candles and have them stashed in your car for any celebration you might have forgotten. Trust me when I say that you should sniff one first! This candle is like a political discussion at a dinner party in that it’s polarizing (you either really like or dislike the scent) and that if things go wrong, someone might not want to be your friend anymore.Luckily, my girlfriend is still friends with me after this candle! While it looked quite lovely sitting on the table before dinner in its anthropologie-esque box and satin bow, things took an odd turn when I took it out and lit it during the first course. Instead of being overcome with the scent of a blooming garden in Paris, we were hit with the subtle smell of my parent’s house and what I would describe as the distilled scent of “this candle went immediately into the garbage.”In short, this candle could be a really great gift to buy for friends, family members, and acquaintances who invite you to birthday parties when you don’t know them well enough to pick out a specific gift. And, I’d say it’s vegan approved! But I honestly wish that the candle had a more powerful scent and announced itself for the good old home-smelling wax pit it is instead of merely lingering in the background. And it honestly would’ve been nice to be smelling the gorgeous gardens of Paris instead of my childhood home on date night. But if the smell of home is your jam, or you have a hungry vegan girlfriend with a hankering for non-vegan baked goods, this candle could be awesome.

Wow, I fell for the "hype" of the description and some of the reviews. SOOOOO disappointed. The Scent can only be detected if you stand directly over the candle. I would NOT purchase any of their products due to this situation.Normally don't do negative reviews but this is an exception!!!!!! The packaging was delightful but the product not so much.

I am a scented candle junkie. I LOVE a good smelling candle. This particular candle smells so good. The scent is called "sugar flower" but I don't think it smells at all floral. To me, it smells like fresh baked oatmeal cookies. It arrived in a very pretty floral box with a satin bow on top. The frosted glass tumbler is a thick, high quality glass. The butterfly on the front is just a sticker though. For the price of these candles, it would be nice if the butterfly was painted or etched on but not a deal breaker. I have only burnt it for about an hour total so far. The wick does tend to "mushroom" a bit but it doesn't sputter and spark and it seems to burn clean. I did not see any soot or smoke with this candle.

This HB Botanicals Candle Limited Edition is a "Luxury Scented Soy Candle" which comes in a very nicely packaged box making this perfect to give as a gift.Scent wise, this doesn't hold a candle (ha) to Yankee candles or even Bath & Body Works, but I do appreciate that soy wax is used here but I feel bees wax would be even better here to really set this apart from competitors.All in all this is a very giftable candle to give to someone in your life, you can also use it yourself, obviously, but the smell isn't particularly strong, and the scent isn't my favorite either.4/5 stars.

This is an elegant candle that smells very good and "homey" . The candle comes packaged as a gift and it's beautiful. The fragrance isn't overpowering. I haven't actually burnt the candle. I'm using it on a candle warmer and it smells up my whole house without giving me a headache

This candle comes beautifully packaged with a large silk bow on the box. All details are cared for. The candle itself is in a glass with the company's logo on it. The scent is light, not perfumey. The candle burns slowly. This candle is an ideal gift. This is worth buying.
