I have been extremely pleased with these bags. I buy smaller bags of potatoes but this bag could hold a lot more. I do buy larger sized bags of onions and there is ample room for more. I think these bags will be most helpful when the garden comes in. First, they are made of good old cotton canvas and the canvas is a nice thickness. Most reviews of similar bag products mentioned a chemical smell. I can't imagine storing food in such a fabric. Both bags are lined with black to aid in the reduction of sprouts and spoiling. The side zipper for easy and quick access is a wonderful design feature and it is a good zipper. I have limited kitchen space and solid containers take up a lot of space, no matter where you place them. These bags can be tucked away in cabinets so easily or placed on shelving. These bags are a gem to have in your kitchen. The are extremely well made and durable. The side zipper provide easy access to the potatoes and onions. The avoid spoilage of these veggies!Highly recommend them.I have decided to repurchase these as gifts for the person who has everything!

These bags have a soft inner lining. They seem durable and have a nice drawstring to keep the bags closed. They have a side zipper for easy access to your vegetables. They are washable. They look good on top of the counter as opposed to leaving the potatoes and onions exposed or in a paper bag. Good buy!

The bags are sturdy, lined with blackout fabric, and claim to keep potatoes from sprouting. Unfortunately the drawstring top doesn't close completely, and the zipper on the side lets light in as well and even though I store my potatoes in a cool, dark closet, they are still sprouting.I was really excited about these, and they work pretty well, especially if you go through potatoes quickly. A side note: both my bags said onions, which doesn't change the way they work, but the claim was that one would say potatoes and one onions. Overall I think this is a good purchase, just not great.

This is well made with high quality canvas and lining. It even has a zipper along the side that allows you to easily remove potatoes or onions.

The media could not be loaded. I haven't had these storage bags for too long now, but so far so good. The are easy to wipe down and my onions and potatoes last longer than they used to. This product was much more cost effective than most of the other alternatives and they look very nice as well. A product well worth the money that was spent. I heartily recommend this product.

I needed a 'space-friendly' option to store my potatoes & onions. I've had a wooden bin, but it took up too much space in my kitchen. These bags fit in the pantry on the shelf and easily hold 5lb bags of potatoes/onions. I believe they could hold 10lbs as described! Easy, affordable, and simple. I should've gotten one for garlic as well :)

Amazing storage for potatoes and onions, no sprouting after three weeks. This works really well although I do not use the zipper as a 10 pound bag of yellow potatoes is probably the maximum one could put in the bag. I wish they would come without the print on the bag (looks nice) but if you want to other types of potatoes or vegetables (for that matter) in there the print is wasted and misleading.

Exactly what I was looking for

I ordered a potato and onion bag a month or so ago and thought I was reordering from the same company again as the bags were not big enough. For $2.00 more I am more pleased that I ordered this product, which are sturdier and bigger. They also gave instructions on washing them etc. and not to put onions near my potatoes.

Received these bags and was dismayed as they are not white but are beige (rice white). My kitchen is black and white so they did not work for me. Received a full refund so I am happy.
