Q: Where to buy pour spout ?

You don’t need a spout, just pour out the top into a cup

Q: Is the jar jeat/cold resistant to prevent cracking? Could it be used with boiling water to make iced tea?

I don’t think I would put ice into the jar then pour hot liquid into it. It is glass after all. I know mason jars are made to withstand heat from canning foods but I wouldn’t mix extreme hot and cold. I had a relative sustain serious burns from trying to make iced coffee in a Pyrex pitcher, so I’m extra cautious with combined extreme temps.

Q: With the stainless steel filter being so long and skinny, how difficult is it to clean out and get all the grounds out when finished?

Not difficult at all. I remove from the jar, and let it sit in a bowl or cup for a short time, pouring off the coffee that drains out of it. Then I shake the coffee grounds out into a trash bag, or compost bin. The coffee becomes a little compacted as the grounds swell with soaking, so sometimes you need to tap it to loosen, but any remaining grounds easily rinse out. I use a bottle brush or bottle sponge to clean, then air dry.
