So wanted to like this ladder
I really wanted to like this ladder. I’ve used it numerous times and it just does not work for me. First off the bottom rung is very close to the ground okay that is nice however it goes down hill from there. if they had put another rung on the ladder so the rungs could have been closer together it would have.been easer to use. As it is now to get down I have the same issue with any other ladder I have to reach really far to step down. The ladder is heavy but feels very stable and there is a lock to hold it open. I would not buy this ladder again because the rungs are still to far apart. A plus the ladder folds very flat so it can be stored in narrow spaces.

Nice stool, medium duty, lowest step heights available. I think all users will like it.
I'm a handyman who purchased this for an elderly customer who was maybe 4ft 7in tall with a bad knee. All other step ladders have hig her step separation of at least 9in.She really liked the lower step heights and the high handle support. It is easy to use and has the lowest step heights of ANY ladder I could find ANYWHERE.She was always asking me for help and solutions so, I told her I would try to find her a good step stool. It took me a while to find this one on a motorhome website, of all places and luckily Amazon sells it.Pros:*Closest average step heights of any stool I found ( as of this purchase.)*High support handle.*Well made and sturdy for most people at 250lbs.*Light enough for many users to handle.*Wide, sturdy stance.*I recommend it for the elderly.Cons:*300 lbs capacity would be better.*Non-average step heights. Might as well make them all 7in or 7.50in apart including the 1st step. What's the point of 6in and then 8in plus for the rest. The first step isn't the hardest.1st Step = 6in (+6in)2nd Step = 14.25in (+8.25in)3rd Step = 22.75in (+8.50in)Because it has lower steps, a taller version with a 4th step would be nice having: 7in, 14in, 21in, and 28in steps. There is an optional plastic lock for the open position but it's hard for elderly to operate. My customer couldn't use it.

Easy To Use And Sturdy
I am really glad I purchased this step ladder. It is light weight, easy to carry around, and is very sturdy. Since I have problems with my legs and now use a cane to get around, I cannot climb and stand on the regular step stool which we have had for years. This ladder has a means to hold on to steady oneself. Also, the lower steps make it a lot easier to climb. Would recommend this for everyone, especially anyone with leg or back problems and uses a cane or walker to get around.

Unique Step Ladder - Low Rises
This is a nice lightweight light to medium duty step ladder. It is unique in having a low rise to the first step (6”) and a low-ish rise to the rest (8”). As opposed to the vast apparent standard of ~9” rises or more. This is very helpful for my intended use (reaching the eyepiece of a tall dobsonian scope at higher incremental elevations).

great for people with bad knees
The low riser height, plus the sturdy handle, plus the wide steps make this ladder feel secure even for someone with bad knees (I've had both knees replaced). It's the first ladder I've had that I actually feel confident using.

Great step ladder
Thank you for making this ladder and providing the information on the distance from one step to another. Knee issues has made use of previous ladder difficult and was hoping to find one that had a shorter rise from one step to to another. None of all ladder options even mention this measurement. After reading a slew of ladder optios I finally was pointed to GP Logistics where you made it clear your 8 inches (compared to 9-10 inches) length gave me hope. I ordered it and arrived in a few days so and I was able to successfully replace one fire detector battery that has been beeping at me for 3 days. I am so happy.

Sturdy platform but comes with increased weight
I was looking for a step stool to get me to the top shelves in my house. I also needed a work platform for ceiling work I needed to do. These steps are very sturdy. The grab bar is ideal for steadying yourself while getting to the top step. As far as routinely using this for the upper kitchen shelves, I would use a lighter two step unit. My wife did not like the extra weight of this stool, but she manages to use it.

sturdy step ladder
I purchased this ladder for my 80+ year old mother. She wanted a step ladder for use in the kitchen. She told me that she really likes the ladder. She found the steps to be deep which gives her better stability while climbing. She said the ladder is not too heavy for her to move around. She felt comfortable and secure while climbing as the ladder has a hand rail at the top. She said it folded easily and does not take up very much room in the closet.
