Bottom line, cats LOVE it. The container is nice because it has a screw top and secures fully, unlike the Ziplock-style closures. This makes storage much nicer and crumbs do not spill in your drawer or cabinet. The catnip is fresh and has a lot of scent. It only takes seconds for the cats to know a treat has been left for them.

Catnip like no other
My cat loves it. He goes bonkers when he sees the container. He got some nerve even trying to open the cabinet to get the catnip. Otherwise know as "cat-crack" or mood calmer.

and in not-so-blind taste testing, our consumer picked....
The media could not be loaded. I purchased three well reviewed brands of catnip for Tristan, my six month old Savannah cat. In the video, I have just placed down three plates of catnip from freshly opened packages. The brands from left to right are Sojos Certified Organic Catnip , in the middle is the product in this listing - Cosmic Catnip Jar, 3-Ounce , and on the far right we have Frontier Catnip Leaf & Flower C/s Certified Organic, 16 Ounce Bag .Like the little bear at Goldilock's table, Tristan tries a bit from each plate; at the end of this clip he seemed to have no *overwhelming* preference for any particular brand though. As far as his physical reactions to each (sampled separately), he did not act "stoned" nor hyper, he merely scratches on his scratch pad a bit more with catnip than without catnip and gives himself a good stretch. He also strongly prefers catnip infused mice to non-catnip mice and I'm happy to oblige. As far as which *I* prefer, if it's all the same to the cat (and it seems that it is) here's my take on things -The Frontier brand is by far the least expensive at just under fifteen dollars for 16oz. It is slightly more coarse and seems to have a little bit of stems mixed in. VERY fragrant though and turned out to be a close second favorite of the cat reviewing the products. I would definitely buy the Frontier brand again and use it for stuffing toys generously or for "marinating" his little cloth mice. Organic and suitable even for human consumption if you like it as a tea.The Sojos brand (1oz can) is the most expensive - by my calculations comes to over a hundred dollars for 16oz!. The description says it produces a "harmless, euphoric state" but we saw no evidence of that. Smelled fresh but definitely a milder aroma than the other two brands; had the finest chopped leaves of the three. Hand harvested if that is important you or your cat. With the Cosmic Cat brand, we *may* have a winner.....When the camera was off, Tristan returned to the Cosmic Cat sample several times more so than the other brands. I repeated this little taste test for the next two days and Cosmic Cat had a small but definite edge over the competition. I'd have to say that I agree with his choice; the Cosmic Cat brand leaves are darker and more fragrant than the other two brands. The leaves are also cut just right - not too fine/not too large, and no stems or coarse pieces. I find the Cosmic Cat brand's price reasonable, the storage container is very convenient, and the 3oz size is enough not to be too little and not so much to get stale and spoil.Hope you find this information useful in choosing for your own cat or kitten.

My cat goes bonkers for this!
PNut loves this catnip! He rolls in it then licks it off his fur, zooms around the house, leaps on things, then exhausted takes a long nap. Perfect to give him at bedtime or when I leave him for hours at a time running errands.

Cats love, love, love this catnip.
I make catnip kickers for fundraisers for local cat rescues. I get rave reviews from all the people that buy them that their cats love them. This is premium catnip that makes them so irresistible. This is the best catnip I have ever bought. And the only catnip I will now buy.

Rendu trop cher🙁, payé moins de 10.00$ quelques mois passés!
Hausse du produit de 100% en 1 an. Pas de sens. Je vais magasiner pour une autre marque,🙁.

Brittle
I always buy this brand & the cats love it. Usually comes in a clear container, but this time it came in the white cylinder pictured. Cats not as happy with it and it is very sharp, brittle when I pinch it. Like getting a splinter. Not sure what's different this shipment.

excellent.
I had this sent to a friend of mine, in part as a birthday gift and in part to celebrate a new addition to the family (a kitten).my friend has never been one to give their cats catnip, or at least rarely. my friend's kitten is fairly young, and I thought I might sneak in there and get him hooked early. this is the brand of catnip I've always bought in local shops, and I was surprised and glad to find it here.my friend had not given the previous cat catnip as that cat (strangely) didn't like it.my plan has worked well. the new kitten loves the catnip, and I'm feeling a bit smug having proved my friend wrong - they assumed the kitten wouldn't be interested in catnip.I'd also like to mention the very convenient way the lid of the container works. when I've used it with my own cats, a pinch or two of the catnip put on the lid (face down, like a dish or bowl) has always been a really great way to give loose catnip with less mess, especially with any carpeting.would recommend.

Good value, but doesn't seem very potent
While my cat is getting older, she normally has a complete "kitten attack" when I give her catnip. She does like this stuff, but I notice her reaction is more subdued. I also notice that there are a lot of pieces of the plant left on the floor when she's done with her "hit". Normally she eats all the catnip after sniffing and rolling in it. I don't what any of this means about the product itself, other than that it doesn't seem as satisfying for my cat.

It is catnip. At least I think it is.
I'm not a cat, so I'm not really the best choice to tell you how good or bad it is.I can say that its the first catnip I have purchased that looked like it was made using the whole plant. There is a lot of fibrous stems in the container and although my cat likes it I think compared to other catnips purchased was alot of filler. My roommate did comment its is the only aromatic catnip he's experienced. It works, the cat relaxes in it, but seems lessened, or not as intense as other brands. This works for people who may be afraid of overdosing their cats with catnip.I may not buy again but do not take this review as a negative, just wanted to provide a veiwpoint.
