Chef Knife Classic 8in Professional Chefs Knife (Made with German Stainless Steel) Elite multi-purpose full-size 8-inch chef’s knife

I purchased this knife to replace a very old and much love Henckels Zwilling Professional S 8" chef's knife, which I sent back to Zwilling for replacement under their lifetime warranty. The return time for warranty replacements is woefully slow, and I needed a chef's knife to use in the meantime. I hesitated purchasing this PurWell Living knife because there is no information listed on where the knife is manufactured and I assumed it was just another cheap Chinese made knife. I have been pleasantly surprised! The knife is weighted like my old German made Henckels Zwilling. It is razor sharp and a pleasure to use. Time will be the real test. Even low quality knives are sharp upon purchase. We will see how much time passes before it needs to be sharpened and how will it performs after sharpening. That said I recommend this knife. You can't beat the price, especially with the $5 off coupon, and the quality seems very good.

This knife makes cooking, slicing, chopping, paring so easy. The knife is packaged beautifully and the knife itself looks more expensive than it was. It carries some weight to it and is very sharp. It takes a little getting used to and I got a little knick on my finger trying to put it back in the case. This would be a wonderful gift for someone who likes to cook. I am so happy I bought it, it teallymakes everything easier.

I bought this knife for myself and I am so glad I did. I love it for many reasons. The shape, the feel, the way it cuts. I know I will have to sharpen this knife eventually. This knife met all of my expectations and was a great price. I am not a chef but worked in a cold food department where we cut and chopped everything. This is a great knife for me I wish i would have bought two!

This knife was extra sharp right out of the box. It is now my favorite knife in my kitchen.

Sharpest knife I've ever owned. I make sure I wear cutting gloves since I seem to hurt myself every once in a while. Got them for my whole family for Christmas.I need to learn to keep it sharp.
