Rechargeable battery in the dog is really difficult to insert correctly

This is a great little toy, my 5yo daughter loves it. The voice commands work well for me but not for her so perhaps it's tuned to specific vocal frequencies. There are some negative reviews complaining about the remote not working but it seems that once it's in voice control mode you need to press the pause button to come out of it. This isn't mentioned in the instructions so is likely confusing some people.The programming mode is cool and lets kids be creative.Reasons I'm only giving it 4 stars are:1) it came with no safety information about the Li-Po battery (don't leave them charging unattended!)2) The battery enclosure could hold a much bigger (and thus longer-lasting) battery. Not sure why they only included a tiny one but the battery compartment looks like there's a variant which takes AAs so maybe it's for simplicity of manufacturing. I'm pretty sure I could cut some of the plastic in the battery compartment away and put a bigger battery in there.3) The instructions could be clearer. The included USB charger shows a red light that disappears after a short time, way less time than the 4 hours indicated charging time specified in the instructions. It's unclear if the red light indicates charging or if it just comes on for a while to indicate that power was applied. Also the instructions didn't explain how to exit voice command mode so I had to figure that out myself.Overall though I recommend this, it's a really fun toy.

This robot dog does lots and lots of different moves. It is made very well with safe shatterproof plastic so is very safe for all of my kids to use.The dog is strong and well made as it has been dropped many times and shows no signs of wear or breakage.You can program the robot in any series of moves that you want it to preform. The remote is simple to use for any age. I find it very helpful that the robot is rechargeable and takes about 1.5hrs for it to be fully charged and ready to go. You get about 45mins if play with each charge which is good.All the members of my house have enjoyed playing with this from 3-41years of age.

My niece is absolutely obsessed with dogs and her older sister has a toy similiar to this that she plays with all the time so she will be delighted to get this for Christmas!!It is a decent size and made of thick plastic so I'd imagine it will survive a knock or two in the coming months. Handy as my niece is 6yrs old and a bit rough and tumble at times.The temote control is a good size and it comes with instructions although its pretty straightforward to operate.

It’s a cute likeable dog with a few features .... except it can’t be controlled to move forward or backwards. It’s NOT like a remote control car - which was my expectation for the price (not cheap)It does a handful of commands & my 4 year old son has got bored of it within a few days. Very loud speaker - which could be a good thing & a bad thing depending on your tolerance levels for repetitive music & dog noises - but volume can be controlled so that’s a good thing!

I bought this product for my granddaughter for Christmas and I thought the remote control it very flimsy not strong at all. I am a little disappointed in the remote control!! Although the material of the dog is strong.
