Nyx Cosmetics Extra Creamy Round Lipstick Femme

I decided to take a chance on NYX lipsticks after a friend raved about one that she got. I'm glad I did. I purchased a lipstick in Femme and it's fairly true to the color swatch shown on Amazon although it's got a little bit of pink to the orange tint. It goes on bright and punchy and is surprisingly moisturizing. If you order though be aware that these lipsticks are smaller than normal lipstick size although I think that is more due to the type of case than the size of the product itself. Also the colors aren't exactly true to what the online color swatches show, but that's normal for any online product to one extent or another. Nonetheless I figured for the price I would take a chance. Besides I know if a color isn't exactly right I can give it over to a friend or family member or simply layer it on with other lip colors in my collection. And as an added bonus this brand of lipstick does layer quite nicely with my other lipsticks and lipstains/glosses.

I really wanted a coral (pink with slight tints of orange) lipstick that would look natural and pretty for summer. When I tried putting this lipstick on, it was pretty dry and not very smooth. It left blotches on my lips. Also, the color was not opaque, so the color of my lips are still very visible.

This shade Femme is definetely a coral red, i thought it was going to be "redder", but it's very bright and has those orange undertones, I think is great for summer. These series of lipsticks by NYX are incredibly moisturizing, with a lot of pigment in them and they feel comfortable on the lips. My only complain is that it doent last that long (2 or 3 hours without retouching, maybe more if you dont eat, drink or kiss anyone). But even after you had a couple hours with this on you will notice a nice stain on your lips. I recommend them, and i would buy more shades of this collection.

Not the red I was looking for

For a while, I've been looking for a lipstick that moisturized and kept the color throughout the day. This is just that. I only had to reapply once. The 'Extra Creamy' title does not disappoint!I love the color, it's more of a coral-y red than a spring-y pink (as shown in the picture).Also, the price is affordable...you're not paying $15 for lipstick, you're paying $4-$5 and that's a good deal!Would definitely consider buying more colors! :)

At first glance you would think it was more orange but its more of a popping red/orange very nice love the Colorado goes well with the nyx euro trash.... love it love it

Beautiful beautiful beautiful I'm Hispanic so I have dark tanned skin n this color looks Fabulous against my hair and skin I love it I highly recommend it
