EstesOdyssey (5) (ES7235)

My son loves this rocket. He is 9 and has done simpler ones before. He picked this out and has been building it completely on his own. Almost ready for decals, then it will be launch time. Hope it doesn't get list or broken on its first flight.

I ordered this item in 2015 as a holiday gift.  ESTES 7235 Odyssey Level 5 The receiver has just now opened it to build the kit and found that the main body tube was crushed and unusable. This was despite the package being undamaged. By their policy, they now refuse to refund the purchase. I suggest being very wary of buying anything from this company, Best Service Stores, given that we are now out over $30. Possibly the problem is with Estes as a second rocket kit (Astron Sky Dart II https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0084JTEVK/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o08_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1), purchased at the same time, was constructed by an experienced modeler, but the decals curled within hours of a smooth application.Addendum: After constructing more Estes rocket kits, we find that the style of decals has changed for the worse. The decals go on just fine and appear to be nicely adhered when dry. However, as soon as they are touched with Dull Cote spray, they curl off the surface. My husband has recently constructed an older kit with the adhesive decals and that one worked fine. He sent a message about the issue to Estes, with no response. He has built close to 200 Estes rocket kits since his youth. Sadly, no more will be purchased. Quest is OK and happy with Dr. Zooch. ESTES 7235 Odyssey Level 5

The instructions came in German, not english and not able to assemble due to I only know English.
