My doctoral research involves genetic genealogy, and I'm our family historian as well. I couldn't resist this necklace which combines both of those passions, and I'm so glad I gave in and purchased it for myself! I've worn this necklace to many genealogy and school functions, to work and just because. The pendant is carefully crafted and the level of detail is outstanding. I thought I would have more trouble with it getting caught in fabric due to the edges, but that has happily not been the case. The bottom points sometimes do get hooked briefly, but never snagged on anything (no more than a drop pendant might) and it's honestly not even a consideration any more for me, no matter whether I'm wearing a sweater, a casual long sleeve t-shirt, or a sheer mesh overlayer for a more formal event. Goes with everything and isn't obtrusive, but is something that many people have talked to me about when they come up to greet me. (Having a conversation starter like that is also very welcome for introverted me - no more trying to break the ice, just answer their questions! :) )This necklace is one of my core staple necklaces for everyday wear, among those necklaces that I've purchased for myself. It's still looking as good as the day I bought it over a year ago. I have plans to wear it to my dissertation defense as well. Highly recommended.

Absolutely beautiful! Just the right size and it's not too big or shiny.The edges are not super sharp so didn't scratch my skin or get caught on anything.Bought it to wear in honor of my sister .It arrived so fast I was able to wear it to her funeral.

I love my DNA Tree of Life pendant, for several reasons. It's sterling silver, made well, not cheap or flimsy, with a lot of detail. I love the uniqueness of the DNA trunk and the branches are very pretty.
