Beautiful item, excellent condition!
This package came a very long distance with absolutely no damage. Have you ever ordered something, waited eagerly for its arrival, then been disappointed when the box arrived crushed? I have. But not this time! It was so very well packaged that it might as well have come directly from a store shelf to my house with no travel in between. The price was competitive, the Lego set was exactly as described, and I would definitely buy from this vendor in the future. Thank you for the excellent service! On top of all that, I really enjoyed building this set, and it’s a lovely addition to the series.

Lego Grand Emporium - another winner from Lego
We bought this set along with the Fire Brigade #10197 and the Pet Shop #10214 to build a "mini-town" and enjoy the sets together. These were purchased for our 11 yr twin boys, and they loved it.This set has incredible detail, and is fun to build. I built this set (Dad), and each of my boys built the other two (Fire Brigade and Pet Shop) . The build was enjoyable, and it was fun to watch them come together. in fact, we enjoyed it so much, that we started building the sets on a Sunday morning together, and we all stayed with it until the sets were done a few hours later. It was a fun family project. These sets are still built - we built them originally over a year ago. And my sons still play with them occasionally. We enjoyed building these so much, and the time spent with my sons building them was so fun I am having trouble finding the strength to take them apart! (I am sure someone out there can relate).Would buy again, and recommend for Lego lovers. Are they over-priced.... well, maybe. Legos are not cheap, and they have escalated the pricing a bit as the popularity increases... so some are not happy about that. Me? If I did not want to pay the price, then I would not buy them. One thing for sure, resale is good - that says a lot!!

Lego Creator Grand Emporium 10211
Purchased this set in order to feed a craving I've had since my young daughter recently began getting into lego's. Between the Creator series and Technic, a big kid can still have plenty of fun with Lego's. My daughter very much enjoyed watching her father toil over this set for a few hours. This is, by far, the largest Lego set I have ever seen, let alone purchased. $150 is tough (for some) to swallow for a single Lego set, but this one seems well worth the investment. When the set promptly arrived in 2 days, the shipping box was almost as tall (and thin) as I am. I was also surprised that the Lego Box itself (dense and heavy) was almost as large as the shipping box. Once again, some gratification for all the money spent. This set utilizes Lego's modular build technique, which provides instruction for assembly in 3 stages. At 2,182 pieces, it definitely takes some time and patience to assemble. I was expecting the construction to take longer than it did (about 3-4 hours with intermittent building/breaks/distractions). Once completed, it's almost too nice looking to play with. I've shelved it until I get around to building the rest of the town. In short, the best part of this set, as with any Lego set, is the attention to detail. I mean, c'mon... escalators, a chandelier, intricate tile. etc. All good stuff. As with anything in life, you get what you pay for. Overall, a great purchase and even better building experience. Can't wait for the next one.

Lego Grand Emporium is a work of art
This was purchased for my 13 year old daughter and she completed the 3 storeys in about 4 hours over two days this Christmas, despite this being makred as a kit for 16+ years, which surprised me. I helped minimally twice when the pictorial instructions were a bit ambiguous with the colors of the pieces (is it silver of grey?). Otherwise she found it entertaining, absorbing and fun, and it has rekindled her interest in Lego again.I was truly amazed at the level of detail in this model, since my main Lego building days were over 30 years ago when sets were much more basic. By the standards of my childhood these latest kits from Lego are spectacular! The designers get 5/5 for the fact that the 3 storeys are so well planned that they attach to each other yet separate easily into each floor for ease of play. This was always one of the biggest problems when I was a kid, making it almost impossible to play with a multi-storey building. The attention to detail in this set is wonderful. Other have mentioned their favorite pieces so I will my daughter's- Revolving doors- Roof billboard- Window cleaner- Escalator- Shop signI will definitely be buying more Lego based on this experience.

Gave In and Purchased This One
This was a beautiful building and I enjoyed putting it together! They really did a nice job years back in adding detail that just isn’t there in today’s Modulars. Although it was somewhat pricey I’m glad I now own this set.

Great Addition to my Lego Collection!
I hesitated for a few weeks on whether to purchase this kit or not, and now that I have completed it I am happy I did. The pictures of this kit do not do it justice. It is very detailed with a great deal going on with it. It is modular so that you can see the great detail inside, and there is a great deal to see. I would highly recommend this kit and feel it is also a valuable addition to my collection. On a side not, I wish "reviewers" would stop using product reviews to whine about sellers on Amazon. The reviews are for the PRODUCTS, not the sellers. If you do not like the sellers price, do what I do, don't buy from them. Stop ruining product reviews with childish whining.

Lego has done it again! The ultimate Lego experience...
This is a kit for the adult Lego fans and it is amazing...It took my wife 8 hours to finish it and it has a lot of interior details and outside details. I have spend countless minutes staring and admiring the outside and the interior details of the building. The whole setup also give me inspiration and imagining how one will live in a city and shop in such a store...Warning: After you build one of the Modular Buildings series, there will be no going back, building other Lego set or series will seem lame and uninteresting, this is a fair warning :)

Gebraucht gekauft, €200
