Does what it is suppoed to - not sure about not having wrist strain - quite large in my small hands to operate, Beware the razor sharp blade - I cut my finger within 30seconds of using - holding too tight to tear

I guess it varies from person to person but I found this awkward to use so going back to the classics tape gun.

Small enough to fit in a drawer. Not easy to load first time from instructions but fine after that

Just received this item and have spent over an hour trying to fit a 2" wide roll of tape into it. .. I am an Engineer and so far am completely baffled as to how this "device" works. First, how do you possibly thread very sticky tape around a "roller" which doesn't actually "roll" , Second, if somehow, you manage that, how do you retain the tape in a useable position when about 2" or so of it just flaps around having been cut, without it sticking to everything it touches and collects dust etc ? Thirdly, holding it whilst trying to dispense tape, your 'holding hand' acts a a brake on the tape roll, preventing it from moving !Overall, the most useless bit of kit I have ever purchased and, subject to my 10 year old daughter not being able to fathom it out this weekend, It will be returned ! I cannot for the life of me understand why anyone would put time and effort in designing and producing such an item !EDIT Some hours later .... Been mulling this thing over but still no joy with it. In fact, I left it on the kitchen worktop with the spool loaded and when I picked it up an hour or so later, I just grabbed it and waked into my study. Lo and behold, the "floppy" loose end had stuck to the work surface and walking away, I pulled out about 3 meters of tape before I stopped ! ..... Is it me ????
