Buy this for one reason - the accessories
I was intrigued by the Crux accessories as soon as I saw a write up about this case. I had an Amazon gift card, a new iPhone 12 Pro, and the need for a case so I decided to give this a try. I ordered the case with the Neck Strap and Ring Stand bundle and the screen protector.I'm not usually an early adopter. My iPhone 6s (yes - 5 years old) was starting to annoy me with poor photos, so I took the plunge and invested in the 12 Pro. I've long favored the thin Incipio cases - and I replace the case much more often than I replace my phone.I'm a frequent traveler who is currently working from home and hoping that 2021 brings the opportunity to travel again. My criteria for a case - does a decent job protecting my phone from normal use and the rare drop, and slim enough to let me make use of my pants pockets or a small cross-body purse to carry the phone. If it looks good that would be a plus. So how does this case measure up?Pros:Case feels solid enough to protect the phone, and as difficult as it was to get on my phone, it's not going anywhere. The wristlet (included with the case) and the ring stand are winners for me.The availability of a carabiner and bright lanyard/button accessories is appealing and I will likely purchase both.Neutral:The case doesn't feel particularly grippy, as others have mentioned. However, the addition of the ring stand or the wristlet makes up for this shortcoming for me. I haven't taken the ring stand off since I got the case. It's small enough (as is the wrist strap) to allow me to put the phone in my pocket or in a small purse. As others have mentioned - the clear case isn't clear enough to really let the phone color show through. I"ll likely be sticking a phone wallet to it once I hit the road again, but if clear isn't going to show the phone some color options would be nice.Cons:The ring stand works great in landscape mode. Unfortunately I'm more of a reader than a watcher - so I'm usually in portrait mode. The ring stand only works when the phone is leaning up against something AND there's something to keep it from sliding forward. I'm hoping once the case has some wear it won't be as likely to slip forward. The mute switch - I feel like this is something you'll either love (keeps dust out) or hate (adds bulk). I typically use do not disturb instead of mute, but I don't think I'll ever use mute with this set up. I'm not a fan.I thought I'd like the neck strap, and might use it like a shoulder strap. But now that I've seen it I'm almost positive I'll never use it. I wish there was a carabiner/ring stand bundle I could have opted for.Unknown:I don't have a MagSafe charger - so I cannot comment on the compatibility of this case with MagSafe. It works well with all my lightning chargers though, including the one in my car. Conclusion:Would I buy it again? Probably. I do like the convenience of the accessories. If not for that, I feel like there are better (and less expensive) options, particularly if like me you consider the case more of a utility item than a fashion accessory.

features weren’t useful
Overall, this is a good case. After about a month of having this case the ringer spinner is incapable of moving. That is the major problem with this case. Another thing to note is the case is quite slippery. It is well protected so it’s truly not too big of an issue. The speaker projection is very useful and makes my broken speakers sound much clearer. There have been no other issues with this case so far but the ringer truly ruins it for me.

Safe, but not sure. And wow, that dial is a disaster.
From the feel of this case, I sense it would well protect my phone. I felt confident that were I to use it, I would find a very strong likelihood that, as I dropped my phone, when I picked it back up again, it would remain in working order. One other thing I felt absolutely certain of as I held this case in my hand, my very valuable phone within it, is that I would make use of that assurance of safety. Often. For as I held this phone in my hand, I was well aware that as slippery as this case is, I would drop my phone regularly. Unless, perhaps, after enough drops, it might acquire some rugged character bumps, rendering it thereby grippy and a worthwhile combination of two things I deem essential to hold my lifeline to communication and productivity. Now, this is not to say the case is purely slippery. It absolutely is not, as many of the plain, clear plastic cases are. Surely, more thought and design went into this. I simply feel that the "balance" struck between safety and adhesion or "grippiness" was shifted too far to the safety side, and not nearly enough on the "feel" side.Overall, studying only those two items, the case is probably a 4 star case and many will like it.Except, that's not all...The Dial. The dial on the side for flipping an already perfectly functional switch for mute on or off is simply a disaster. I mean that in no other way. Disaster. What on earth are the designers thinking? That something Apple already factored into all of their engineering must then be improved on? And then, though I heard decent things about the 11 cases and their dial, as regards the 12 model here, to absolutely fail at it?Good luck turning that dial with dry fingers. Or any hand condition that requires, again... grip. If I were them, I'd go immediately back to the shop and simply cut that out of every single one being produced. It's a failure. So hard to turn, even under favorable conditions. (Shakes head at people who seek to improve something just to set themselves apart, only to make a muck of it. This generation of "progress, solely to say they've "progressed""... ugh. Stop fixing things that work, already. )As for the snowy back cover, I presume that, as with most all things on the earth, if I admired my blue phone through it for today, within a week it would make no matter to me at all. Life has more important things to be mindful of, and while a car color might offer some longer term pleasure and admiration, I doubt again the same is true of this phone, regardless of color, within this case.I wonder that the Vibe might be a far better product for balance, yet fear if the same, hard material is in use, it will still not be comfortable in the hand. And again, considering how long I hold my phone in my hand, I want it to be comfortable, as well as safe. Who cares if my bed looks good, if its not comfortable. Or my chair. My shoes. Or even my underwear. ;p

Well made, great price, great protection !
This case is made of a very tough protective material and fits like a tight leather glove (a perfect fit for my iPhone 12). I am very confident it will protect the whole phone from falls and keep the dust out completely not like other expensive but not tight enough fitting cases I have owned that let dust easily sneak inside ! My favorite feature is how the bottom speaker slots are made to project you iPhone sound straight out forward between that and the new top speaker on this phone it is very loud for listening to music or videos . And the tone is super nice. I keep my iOS settings on the “late night” setting . If your not familiar with how to set that go to settings >music> then click “EQ” and you will get many music modes choose “late Night” it increase the iPhone 12 volume by about 30% more of its default max setting. This case is not completely crystal clear on the back but it does show your color of your phone very nicely (I have a Blue phone) I would highly recommend this case as a great buy especially for the price !I’d like to add as I have read on a couple reviews and u tube video reviews about the mute switch dial being so hard to turn etc mine is absolutely fine a 5 year old can turn the dial back and forth to put on and off ? Maybe these cases vary off the assembly line but I don’t know why people are complaining that the dial is so hard to turn ?

Quality protection but add to the width.
Great high quality protection. Add to the width of the iPhone though, not recommended if you have small palm or short fingers. Aesthetically pleasing (but personally, prefer a solid matte black case than transparent). Holes at sides collect dust. Intended to also get the crux carabiner, but the price just don't make sense.

Nice but has a flaw
I dislike the way there is an ever so slight warp on the front around the buttons, you can see that the edge of the case around the glass has a slight curve each side, gives an odd appearanceSturdy case and the speaker setup was nice
