This is a great product. It was easy to install and I have only had a few issues with the telescoping sections when I first set it up.The ball at the top is cheap hollow plastic, not metal, but at 30 feet in the air, you can't tell the difference. The ball snapped at the threads as I was installing it, but I was able to repair it with glue and a wooden dowel inside and now it is stronger than the original.The flag that comes with the pole is cheaply made, but it was included in the price and the flag is an item that needs replacing eventually. Also, at 30 feet, you cant tell the difference.So why 5 stars?The flag pole itself, is extremely well made and easy to assemble. and as I said, easy to install. The pole will accommodate two flags and the 30 foot pole is the perfect height for the flag to catch the breeze.I was limited to where I could place the pole because of the 20 foot apple tree that constantly caught the flag on my previous flagpole. It is no longer an issue.It did take almost a month for delivery but it was worth the wait.The pole has gotten several compliments from my neighbors.I recommend the 30 foot pole over the 20 foot pole because the extra 10 feet really makes a difference. My flag at 30 feet catches the breeze while my neighbors flag hang limp.I would purchase it again.

I have had many flag poles but this one is THE BOMB!!! There are no cords to pull and you can set the height so easily . In the picture I have it set at 15 ft and it's just awesome. It also has an extra sleeve for a second flag. It comes with a good size sleeve to put into the cement to hold the pole. All I can say is YESYESYES I highly recommend this flag pole. You will never use a rope pole again.Ok this review was put on when I had flagpole for a full day .Whoever we had a windy day the next day and the flag was blowing,than the pole kept sliding down no matter how tight I twisted the clamp. when there was no wind it was fine. Unfortunately I live in AZ WHERE there is no such thing as a calm day rarely anyway. This was supposed the be an updated version that stayed locked. I still haven't gotten any satisfying response . I don't want to send a 30ft pole back so what we did was screwed a very small screw for metal just 2 1 above each sleeve and now it's perfect. Even though it didnt work as promised I do like that there are no ropes but I am disappointed in the product so I take back five stars and give 1 since it doesn't do as promised but a 5 for the concept. Though I was not to happy with the way it slid down I must admit I really like this pole. The 25 ft seems to hold up better but I still used 2 little metal screws to be safe. What I like about this pole is when it's windy you just drop it down a sleeve if you don't want to take down the flag. So all in all I would recommend but advise that if it slides down just put in a tap screw.

I bought this awhile ago and finally got it up. It's been up for about 6 months. Pros- super easy install. It's very tall, can raise it no problem and looks great. Cons- virtually impossible to lower if need be. I need to because the flag they sent is garbage. Fell apart in about 4 months, looked terrible. Randomly a section will collapse on itself. No big deal, just raise it back up and tighten it. We'll, depending on which section collapses you might not be able to get the bottom ones to collapse. Extremely difficult to get them to come down. I even used an oil can wrench to try and loosen it and no luck. Finally got it lose and now can't get the next section down so either o rip.out the pole or hope at some point I can get it lose. I like the concept, but would be a whole bunch easier with cotter pins between each section. The whole friction lock is terrible. I would strong pass on this.

We ordered our pole last November (2020) but due to weather and other personal issue, I did not get around to installed it until our Memorial Day holiday weekend. Although, it was properly packaged but the golden ball was damaged and cracked, either it was not manufactured correctly, or damaged during shipment.Knowing it was out of warranty, reluctantly I wrote an email to the supplier directly. To my surprise, they were outstanding. They promptly replaced the ball, no question asked. Very good customer service. For this, I will give them 5 star.As for the pole itself, I wish the aluminum was slightly thicker and heaver than 1.2 mm especially at the base or maybe the first two telescopic layers.

It’s a great flag pole but the raising and lowering sucks ass. I’ve had the pole set up for a yr now and at first it was fine. BUT after it being in the weather for a while. I have to remove the entire pole down and have to have another person help me twist it just to get it raised or lowered. And the flag holder clips. Are junk. One has already broke, luckily it’s the one for the second flag. Maybe a cotter key or a pin system would be much better.

The flagpole is nice and contains everything you need to set it up. This means it includes the pvc sleeve to put in the ground, a flag, and the gold ball on top. MAKE SURE YOU LOOK FOR THE BALL WHEN YOU UNBOX, it is apparently in the bottom of the box. I didn't see it and threw it away, so had to buy a replacement ball.The 30ft version is very tall, too tall in fact for the winds at our height. 20' would have been plenty tall, and I think would probably be more stable. The nesting flagpole sections really start to bow when this is fully extended 30', so I end up only putting it about 20' high.
