5/16 Inline Fuel Filter - APE RACING Universal Billet Aluminum Metal Glass Fuel Filter for Motorcycle ATV Dirt bike UTV and small Engines, Corrosion Resistance, Washable and High Flow

High quality filter, after reading reviews stating the filter was “restrictive” or “poor quality” I decided to test the flow while cleaning my filter. I removed the fuel line to carb, drained fuel into container, fuel flowed from 5/16 line freely. Put an air hose in tank and sealed around the gas tank opening creating pressure and the filter allowed a stream of 5/16 fuel to flow with authority. If this filter is restrictive, it’s because a larger filter is required. This filter is overkill for my atv, but, it looks great, crystal clear, thick glass, heavy o-rings, and black anodized inlet/outlets. Looks like a much more expensive piece than it is. I will buy again, if I purchase another atv, this filter will outlast this machine.

Anodizing, glass tube, and o-rings looks great, although it seems that this was dropped (see pictures) and left a dent in one of the caps. I dont know yet if it will affect operation, but my client might not like it.All in all, not bad for a $12 in line, see through fuel filter

5/16 is the od of the barbed fittings, I thought that it would be the Id, useless for my application, not enough flow through what is a3/16 I’d.

First one came quick, however it was broken due to poor packaging. The second came and it was better packaged and arrived intact. However it is supposed to be a high flow filter. The filter material is very restrictive and not suitable for high performance delivery. I ended up having to change the internal mesh filter with a high flow material to get my tuned engine to run right. Do not buy this product if your using it on a high flow setup

Really liked the concept of this filter but was poorly machined and broke do to lack of quality control.

Nice quality and easy to clean
