Absolutely LOVE this yarn
Honestly the BEST yarn I’ve ever used and I’ve been crocheting for almost 20 years. This yarn is on the thinner side. Not a bad thing. I use a 4mm hook with this yarn and it’s so incredible soft. It’s the kind you want to feel on your skin. And it’s very flexible. It’s not stiff at all. I thought the price was kinda high but once I got it and started crocheting it, it’s actually not a bad price. Haven’t found any problems other than it feels so nice I don’t want to give it to anyone. Lol

Never looking back.
So Let’s y’all about this yarn.Upon receiving it I was a little peeved about the size, however my mind was quickly blown by the texture and the softness of this yarn. The gauge is a little smaller it’s a size 3. (Which makes up for the size of the skein) It quickly works up and is very flexible. It feels like a real garment when worked up. Not scratchy not itchy or rough at all. It runs through my Tulip hook like butter. Also it doesent stretch at all so it’s good for tight fitted clothing. It’s the best yarn I ever had and it’s worth the price. With one skein I was able to make a mesh cami and still have some left over for a cute thong which I’m working now. It is a little splitty if that makes sense but that doesent matter so much if you have a good hook. This yarn is amazing you have to try it!!

So silky and wonderful to work up!
This is my first time working with bamboo yarn! I made a chicken sweater and this yarn exceeded expectations. Very silky and cool - which was great because my hen is already fuzzy & runs hot. I tried a bunch of weird stitches like tunisian honeycomb for the first time and this yarn worked up quite easily! I probably wouldn't have started learning on it as it is very smooth, but I am still a beginner and it was not difficult at all to use. The color mushroom is a beautiful dusty mauve, very neutral and muted. I love the drape and the overall weight and texture. I would love a whole bedspread out of it one day!

TOTAL rip-off
The yarn in itself is beautiful. But you are getting ripped off buying it here! Go to Lion Brand’s website and you can get it for $5-$6 instead of $7 each, especially if you visit the site on Wednesdays where you can spin a wheel to get a discount from 10-35% off. I bought two packs of three on here, I could’ve bought an entire other skein with the money I would have saved if I just went through the brands site! My lesson learned, don’t buy yarn on Amazon unless you research!Edited to say that going through 1.5 skeins so far I have had no less than at least 20 instances where spots of some crusty stain-leaving black/ brown substance is on the yarn after I pull it from the center. I am contacting the seller and asking for answers, and hoping to god that it isn’t bug or rodent feces.

This yarn will spoil you.
You will not want to crochet with any other yarn after using this yarn. It is thin, I used 2 strands with a 3.5 hook, but you could use a larger hook. The colors are bright, shiny and it slides off your hook like butta, it has great drape and is strong. It seems a bit expensive, but the results are totally worth it.

Soft, Pretty, Thin, Splitty
I wanted to love this yarn. I love bamboo yarn for clothing as we live in the Southern US and bamboo is much cooler to wear for our seasons. And the Lion Brand is a quality brand. However this yarn runs thin which is a little frustrating for me, although for others it may not be an issue at all. And it can be splitty. One reviewer summed it up correctly...you get used to it. Getting used to it, doesn't necessarily make it easy though. I have found other bamboo yarns of this same weight that are actually a pleasure to work with, very relaxing. I won't deny the yarn is marvelously soft and the available colors are beautiful but I don't know that I would get it again unless I can't find anything else suitable.

Very soft yarn, very nice product, can be a little difficult to work with until you get used to it
Used this yarn to make a bandana and also am using it to make a scarf and have a number of other things in mind as well. Think it would make a fantastic camisole for summer because it is so light and soft. This yarn makes a very delicate and nice product, even with the heavier/thicker crochet stitches. The reason I gave 4 rather than 5 is that it can be a little difficult to work with because it is so soft so it does take a little bit of 'getting used to it' but once you have worked with it, much easier! The product you can make with it far outweighs any Initial difficulty of working with it. This is a GREAT yarn!

Bamboo yarn is SO soft!
This is my first time using 100% Rayon from Bamboo and my first time using Truboo brand yarn. It's entirely possible I'll never want to use anything else! This yarn is so incredibly soft and squishy and I love it. My colors are Khaki, Sienna, Sand and Sky (I'll be copying this review for the other colors). PROS: Soft, true colors, very silky hand, nice smell. CONS: 1. The threads separate VERY easily so it is necessary to look at work and not just go by feel. 2. The yarn barf is absolutely freakin ridiculous. It is so tangled you may want to give up before even starting, but don't! Once you finally locate the end it is completely worth the hassle. GENERAL: The yarn has zero elasticity but my stitch combination has just though give so it's a perfect combination. The crochet band calls for a G/6 4mm hook but I'm using G/7 4.5mm in a simple alternating dbl/single crochet stitch. I've completed about nine rows at 60" across for each color and still have more than 3/4 of each skein still left plus two full skeins of each color so that will be plenty for my silky, cozy blanket. I'm extremely happy with the feel of this yarn. Any garment in a solid color would be just beautiful. This yarn does not disappoint! I hope this review helps your decision. Happy hooking 😊
